Avo Domaine cigars (also called Domaine Avo cigars) are rich and robust, even though they’re in the medium bodied range. The 6 vitolas in the line cover most people’s wants and the construction is wonderful, being made in the same factory as Griffin’s and Zino cigars. Right away, it’s apparent that this is a very different cigar than the Avo Classic or XO. The wrapper is a beautiful milk chocolate color with almost unnoticeable veins and a silky sheen. This Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper is only part of the story, however.

Avo Domaine cigars use a unique filler blend grown on Avo Uvezian’s own Dominican property, and the merging of these unique tobaccos creates a rich flavor with a deep mustiness that, to me, is reminiscent of some of the milder Cuban cigars.

For the times when I don’t want a spicy or sweet stick but I want a bold yet elegant flavor, I frequently turn to Avo Domaine cigars to fill the bill. Also, if you’re making a gradual move toward more full bodied smokes, the Avo Domaine cigar is a great stop along the halfway point.
