CAO Tin - Bill Baileys Balkan Blend (50g)
This tobacco blend brings back very nostalgic memories.
The pipe smoker who misses the type of strong, full bodied
flavor of Latakia blends that dissappeared from
tobacconists' shelves will be pleasantly surprised by this
blend. This mixture combines the best Virginia grades with
various Oriental tobaccos, 10% dark fired Kentucky leaf
and over 40% Latakia. A pinch of perique is added to fully
round out the flavor in this "old style" classic. It is cool burning and full strength.

This tobacco is a mild aromatic blend composed of
Virginias, Burley, and unflavored Black Cavendish.
"Shannon" is an extra light, fruity mixture with a very
pleasant room note.

The Virginia seed tobaccos in this blend come from a
variety of preferred growing areas around the world
including Zimbabwe. 5% Louisiana Perique is added to the
Virginias and pressed together and aged for twelve weeks
with gentle pressure fermentation. This blend is a
wonderful, smooth, and dark Flake. Limerick possesses a
very balanced sweetness and is a cool and even burning
smoke. A medium to full smoke.

This blend is named after the venerable former malthouse
in which the tobacco is prepared. The Malthouse is a
superb mixture of provincial Virginia tobaccos that are
infused with Scottish Single Malt Whisky. The tobacco is
then pressure fermented for approximately 12 weeks until it
is fully aged. The Malthouse offers a mild, classically light smoke. This is a great transition tobacco for Aromatic
smokers into traditional straight blends.
