full flavor. i actually cut it abit with another blend called stogie. this is probally the best cigar blend i have tried, and i have had most of them. i like it best in my corn cobs.

The last four lbs of tobacco I have purchased have been C&D and the last three have been Billy Budd. Before getting back into pipe smoking after many years hiatus I was into smoking full-bodied premium cigars and now this is my hands down daily smoke - have not found anything I like better.

I have enjoyed Billy Budd for 14 years and I can tell you if you like a Latakia based blend with cigar leaf, there is nothing out there to beat this combination. It is rich, full bodied and satisfying from the first light to the bottom of the bowl.

Never thought I could find a pipe tobacco that would make me drop cigars. But, this is it. Haven't had a cigar in 3 days. I now crave my pipe. I'll be buying plenty more...

Billy Budd and I became friends from the first puff. I prefer natural, or English blends and this one is very balanced to my taste with just enough Latakia to make it interesting. No bite, just a relaxing smoke.

This is a heavy Latakia hugely smokey blend. If Your a Latakia fan and it's cold outside this is the perfect choice especially in front of a nice fire place. Good burn, easy light and a good all around heavy handed English.

Full bodied ,full strength full flavored with a lot of the strength coming from the cigar leaf and dominant flavors from the Latakia with Perique fading gradually throughout the bowl. Needs to be smoked reasonably hard to extract all the flavors from this excellent tobac.
