Field & Stream
August 13, 2013
I've smoked Field & Stream for decades. Since the tobacco went out of production I have tried to find something close. This isn't it. It's a shag, not a cube cut, and lacks the aroma and taste of Field & Stream. It may suffice as a tobacco, but not as a worth substitute.
great flavors, consistent burn

Nice licorice and maple combination. Leaves a great room note with a woodsy aroma. I cut in some fine cut D&R Three Sails to dry it up a bit and it burned nice and slow to the bottom of my cob and another narrow briar. Does not work well in larger pipes and will bite good if you draw heavy. This is a nice slow smoke with a great after taste. Perfect for relaxing on the shoreline with a fishing rod and contemplating the meaning of life.

Not an exact copy of the original, but the closest thing to it. I have been smoking Field and Stream for years, and and am glad to have a new scouce of supply.
50 Years of Enjoyment

I have been smoking Field and Stream for 50 years. Did not know what I would switch to when the House of Windsor folded. Glad to find this terrific match to it.
