Gotta be the Kentucky
October 12, 2013
Now after three tins of Cerberus I think it's the dark-fired Kentucky that brings it all together. Still my favorite smoke!

This is a very good blend, but there are other Latakia heavy tobaccos that are better for the same price.

It's hard to imagine a Latakia-heavy blend with as pleasant a flavor and delicious a texture as this one. A modern masterpiece, and a validation of the idea that progress still awaits humanity through innovation. A most rewarding treat!

While ordering another pipe tobacco, I noticed the awesome name H&H gave this blend. I decided Why not? and gave it a try. I was pleasantly shocked at the flavor of Cerberus. This is hands down my favorite smoke. It's sweet and flavorful. Perfection.

This is a Latakia lovers dream come true ! I am going to order more,If this is going to regular production it will replace my english blend as my regular smoke. I have smoked this in 6 different pipes from small clay to a 2 inch pot and enjoyed it in all of them .In short try it youll like it.

Smooth Latakia blend. Smell before smoke is of strong tobacco and smoky: burnt with the main color of blend being black. Being mostly Latakia the blend is drier then normal but still moist enough. It is partially crisp with some cool. I usually like my Latakia with orientals but the Virginia is a decent change of pace as depth adder. Solid smoke
Make a bigger tin

My first brush with Latakia, I like it, it's very enjoyable. I would like to see it a larger tin sometime in the future.
Nice smoke, bad tin

Ordered a can after being given a couple bowls to sample by a friend. I really enjoy the smoke. Great flavor and depth with a sublime, and not overwhelming, "strength" to it. However, the tin I received looked as it had been sitting under a rock for a few years. Faded, almost unreadable label, and one that should have never left the warehouse. Hoping for better luck next time.

I'm about halfway through my first tin of this fine tobacco. The Virginia is sweet and the Kentucky provides a wonderful framework fo the Latakia and Perique. The Orientals peek in and out through the bowl and the smoke gives me a hint of what "pipe dreams" are all about. The blend burns well from the first touch of the match flame to the last wisp of flavorful smoke. I like this tobacco and look forward to the next tin. It would be only better if Cerebus was available in a larger tin. ;)-o
