Jerry began collecting pipes back in 1976 while in college and has been obsessed with pipes ever since. Over the years his collection grew to include many high grade pipes from eBay that he refurbished himself. Jerry’s journey into pipe making started a few years ago when the desire to make more extensive repairs led to learning the mechanics of pipe making from pipe maker and owner of “Pipe Makers Emporium”, Paul Hildebrand in Phoenix Arizona. Early on Jerry saw pipe making as a way to relieve stress from work and a great hobby.

Only the third pipe Jerry made won a "Best Billiard" contest and the next pipe was sold to a colleague. This flurry of activity launched Jerry into a process of buying more materials to make more pipes with. Since then he has had the good fortune to work with and gain inspiration from world renowned pipe artisans and in January 2012 began making pipes full time. All of the pipes Jerry crafted are handmade using the best Algerian and/or Italian briar.

The stems for each pipe are hand cut from top quality German ebonite rod stock with the exception of an occasional Bakelite or Lucite material. Each pipe is crafted individually using the highest of tolerances to promote superior smoking characteristics.
