MacBaren 7 Seas Black Blend (3.5oz tin)
Mac Baren’s 7 Seas Black is a toasted Cavendish, but unlike most American versions, Virginia is used as the base tobacco, which gives it more natural sweetness than the Burley-based types. Dark fruit and cream notes make this a winner across the board.

This isn't my usual type of blend but I tried it on impulse and it is indeed a great blend. Very deep and bold flavor with an incredible room note.
Not bad

Out of all the aromatics that I've tried thus far, 3 to date, this is my favorite. I can actually detect some flavor! The smell out of the tin is heavenly, almost like figs/fig newtons. Needs some substantial drying time, as it's very moist when it ships. The smoke smells similar to a premium hazelnut coffee, same with the "taste" of the smoke through the nose. The smoke tastes somewhat sweet without a lot of body to it. Very good for what it is. Nothing but compliments from my lover and roommates.

For those who like cased tobaccos, this is a good option, and, like all MacBaren products, worth sampling. While I enjoy this in my rotation, I am more partial to Cavendish blends such as Lane's Q-1 / Fader's "Unique" and Peretti's "Ebony", among others.

Not bad, but a bit bland at first. Very cool smoker too. No bite. Nice for a light afternoon puff
Best black cavendish I've had yet!

Scintillating, rich flavor. Vanilla, coconut, amaretto, pistachio, a bit of chocolate... amazing layers of flavor for such a simple-looking and inexpensive blend. Probably my favourite so far of the 7 Seas line. Tin and room notes are peerless. Smoke with confidence if you like aromatics. If you're like me, you'll be buying in bulk next!
Very Good
