McClelland Tin Frog Mortons Cellar (50g tin)
A mellow, fragrant Latakia blend aged with stave cubes cut from barrels used to mature and flavor Frog Morton's own special whiskeys. Ahhh!

I was really looking forward to trying this but was left fairly disappointed. In an attempt to achieve that 'whiskey' flavor my palate percieved a very soapy taste. I didn't dump the bowl because it is a high quality tobacco, that is evident just to soapy for my taste. I'll cellar it and try again further down the road and hope for better results.

I was hesitant to try this because i am a heavy Latakia/English/Oriental/Balkan lover from way back. But Damn, this was nice stuff. Smooth and a very interesting taste and aroma too. Cannot wait to try the original FM. Definitely will have this around! And I am very picky for my tobaccos!

Good FM but more towards the aromatic side. A departure. Good Crossover blend although I prefer the more Balkani blends. Still recommendable.

Awesome, tasty, mild smoke. Awesome room note as well. Plus having it flavored with whiskey is a plus for me. Came perfectly moist and ready to smoke. I wouldn't recommend buying this tobacco though because that would leave less for me to buy hahaha! Good stuff, A++!

Like all the McClelland tobacco I've have smoked this blend smokes well, cool with no bite and burns to a nice white gray ash. It has a nice sweetness but not too sweet. Reminds me of sipping on southern comfort when first lit then turning into a nice spicy Latakia taste half way down the bowl. A flavorfull smooth smoke that gets better every time I smoke it.

I ordered a tin of FMC with anticipation because I have always enjoyed FMOTT. I was not disappointed! Mild Latakia flavor with the tiny topnote of whiskey and the room note is good, too. What more could you ask for? It's my new no. 1 tobacco.

It's a tasty mild smoke. Not super complex or rich in flavor, but satisfying.

Being a fan of the other Frog Mortons, and an occasional whiskey drinker, I had to give this a shot. After opening, there's the nice Froggy latakia tin note; plus the distant scent of real whiskey. It packs well, stays lit, and smokes nice and slow. It's tastes great and comes with a stave cube (which may or may not taste just as great.) Buy it.

I was given a complementary bowl of this heavenly leaf at a local tobacco shop, and it was amazing. I kept saying, as I was smoking it, that it was one of the most flavorful, smooth, pleasing tobaccos I have smoked in months, and - like a Hypnotized Victim of my senses, I hurried to buy a tin of it for myself. I also recommended it to my pipe club and they're ordering too. If you like Latakias, you have to have this in your collection. YOU'LL BE BACK FOR MORE!

UPS dropped off my new shipment of tobaccos and Cellar was one of them. I was actually eagerly awaiting this tobacco with childlike excitement. I popped open the tin and the aroma was fantastic. Latakia and whiskey jumped out at my senses. The leaf was moist as I felt around for the stave chunk. I loaded up a very old barrel Missouri Meerschaum with a cane bit, lightly packed the leaf and fired it up. Man, I was not disappointed! The flavor was mellow and creamy. The Latakia tickled my palate and the whiskey flavor enhanced the smoke. This tin may not last me long before I'll need another. I highly recommend Frog Morton Cellar!
