5 Vegas Gold Maduro is going to suit a lot of different palates. Even though it sports a thick, satiny Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, it's not a sledgehammer. This is as smooth and creamy as a dark cigar can get. The filler blend is from Honduras and Nicaragua, bringing complexity and notes of espresso, cocoa, dried fruit and a touch of pepper.
If you're a mellow cigar fan who's been a little skittish about dark cigars, then this is the one to try. The thick, lush smoke will captivate you, but it never overpowers. And if you're already a fan of smooth maduros like Ashton and AVO Maduro, wait 'til you try this at a fraction of the price.
It is mild and very flavorful. Had it with a sampler pack and was pleasantly surprised with this dark cigar. Will certainly order more.

5 Vegas Gold Maduro
Oct 27, 2015
Purchased five pack of 5 Vegas Gold Maduro a couple or three weeks ago and was looking forward to trying them. Smoked one and it was a chore. Didn't know if it was rolled to tightly or slightly dry. Let remainder stay in my humidor a few more days and smoked one. It to was hard to draw as if rolled to tightly. If this is representative of this cigar I will not buy anymore
Customer Testimonials
First of all, I'm really more of a pipe smoker, so my experience with cigars is, in a word, limited. I'm expecting the arrival of my first child later this year and, being a traditionalist, I wanted to get some cigars to celebrate the event. I don't like anything with any bite to it, and since I'm from Pennsylvania, the idea of a Pennsylvania broad-leaf wrapper really appeals to me. After a thorough review of the latest P&C catalog, I came to the conclusion that the 5 Vegas Gold Maduro was the cigar for me. It's a smooth, luxuriant smoke, with a light, captivating flavor. I gave one to a buddy and he reported back that "...it was the smoothest cigar I'd ever had...very enjoyable!" I have to agree with him. If, like me, you're new to cigars and you want a good experience, look no further.
