5 Vegas Triple-A is everything you could want in a maduro cigar - complex, smooth and remarkably well-balanced. Long-filler ligeros are blended from all three of Nicaragua's major growing regions - Esteli for robust flavor, Condega for great aroma and Jalapa for excellent smoothness, What ties it all together is a super-dark Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, which is bold, but with excellent manners. Rich notes of coffee and dark chocolate combine with toastiness and subtle spice. If you enjoy a good, full-bodied maduro, you have to try Triple-A.
As a pipe guy, I'm not a cigar connoisseur. So, please keep that in mind with this less than veteran review. My humidor is mostly legit cubans. I bought these (based on a solid recommendation) to have for friends that don't care what they smoke. And then I smoked one. Very deep, rich flavor that was creamy and smooth. I LOVED it! I honestly enjoyed it more my favorite Habano Monte Cristo #2's. Mine were 21 months old from P&C, but they tasted like they had been aged 10 years. I'm not a nic lightweight, and this one had me swimming a bit. Great stick! I'm putting more in the humidor.
