I bought this pipe for its looks. I truly feel it is one of the most beautiful pipes on the market. When it arrived I was not disappointed. The color is rich reddish light brown. Closest color is like a burnt Sienna. The stem is beautifully marbled swirl of amber, bronze, black and reddish brown. It is not a large pipe, but perfect for my 25 minutes daily smoke of Lane 1 Q...I am a light puffer and the bowl did not overheat. Love the wide stem. I am a hand holder, but tried it clenched and it was well balanced and comfortable. I am considering another!

Very comfortable , smokes easily and bowl stays cooler longer so I can hold the bowl rather than the stem

Not so good for some tobacco, but for the tobacco it is good for, it is very good.

The pipe I received has a strait stem vs the bent pipe shown. Also, the fit between the stem and bit is not accurate. Can this be exchanged? I have smoked it though, and it is a good smoke.

The color and grain of the briar is exquisite and the marbled stem is gorgeous. A lighter weight pipe with wide stem. I am particularly fussy about stem width and prefer wider stems (e.g. 3/4 inch). This pipe and all of the Baraccini and Savinelli pipes I have purchased so far have wider stems. Nice!!
PS - It would be extremely helpful if P&C included stem width as part of details section about pipes along with a top down photo of pipes. Having two side views of a pipe is not particularly helpful.

Great smoking pipe with a striking finish.

Awesome pipe to smoke while working or using hands elsewhere. Wide mouth piece, light weight but thick, short & strong enough to stick in pocket with out breaking. Also even though a smaller pipe it still packs a decent bowl & doesn’t get piping hot.

Smoked a bowel of blood red moon tonight. Very few relights. No tongue burn but that seems true anytime I smoke this tobacco. For the price it is a good pipe. I prefer it over my Peterson’s . I will have to smoke some it more to see if I like it better than my Rattrey filter pipe.

probably wont smoke it for a long while, but it looks and feels great, and doesn't require a stand in my curio.

Beautiful pipe! Looks great, holds great and best of all it smokes great. Have a collection of 24 pipes, new and vintage, and this pipe is definitely one of my favorites. I liked it so much that I just bought a Baraccini sandblasted bull dog. Can't wait to see it and smoke it!
