Perfect balance between cherry and vanilla and a slight hint of chocolate. Finding myself going back to this more and more. Almost a perfect blend.

I'm no pipe expert, so I went on a leap of faith based on other's reviews as I wanted something with a nice fragrance & flavor to puff on for Christmas. Was happily surprised, this tobacco is just plain great! I'll definitely keep a tin of this tobacco around.
5 out of 5
Smooth from beginning to end. Great aftertaste.
4 out of 5
Love the tin note and the room note! The tin itself for whatever reason I have the hardest time opening. this blend can bite a little as it is more on the wet side and if smoked to fast can cause tongue bite. Let the tobacco dry out a little and smoke it slower. Also the chocolate and cherry taste and smell is perfect for Christmas time!

Tastes great. Slow to get burning well.

Favorite relaxing tobacco. Smooth, pleasant aroma and mild flavor. My wife calls it "the good stuff".

I'm fairly new to pipe tobacco, therefore I'll reserve my eloquence for matters of more familiarity. That said, this stuff is great! I feel like the product description is quite accurate, so I won't try to describe it any further. My dad used to smoke a pipe of cherry flavored tobacco on Christmas Eve and now here's a pipe tobacco blend that tastes like a cherry cordial; it's basically Christmas-in-a-tin.

Always apprehensive when buying brands I haven't tried. In this case after letting it dry out for a time it smoked very nice. Might buy again at some point.

My favorite aromatic and really well done.

This is my hands down favorite, very tasty from start to finish! If you have not tried this blend you are missing out! Deep dark Chocolate chocolate covered cherries with a quality rich tasty tobacco that you and everyone around you will love. Just wish you could buy it by the pound!

Great pipe tobacco awesome taste and nice room note.

This is my favorite, it is mild and the aroma is very pleasing. My neighbor is also pleased with this brand. I bring some over for hot tea and a smoke Cult Blood Red Moon is a good social gatherer... Please try it. Deeman

excellent tobacco. i notice it and SPC Narrows Bridge seem almost identical blends. at least to me

Wow, what a find ! Smokes cool and smooth with a perfect blend of cherry and chocolate ! Room note is light and pleasurable, and brings compliments !!! No bite or lingering aftertaste ! I will definitely be purchasing again !!

Smooth and very aromatic. Wife likes the smell. Burns slowly and nice. Does not leave an aftertaste. I will buy again with my other regular pipe smokes. And my neighbor enjoys it too.

Read some reviews BRM and purchased one tin, tried it ordered two more and a Cult Conspiracy, hard to beat. BRM will always be in my cellar. Try it you wom't be disappointed. Thumbs up.

First time trying it and really liked it! Full of flavor and wonderful room note! Will be getting more to add to my rotation!
5 out of 5
Great aroma in the tin. Smokes great with lots of thick plumes of smoke. Tastes great to the bottom of the bowl, putting out a nice aroma.
3 out of 5
Having bought six tins, I found several different characteristics. My first can tasted much more chocolatey than cherry, but that wasn't a deal-breaker. It smoked cool, with only the slightest hint of cherry to compliment the chocolate.
My sixth can has neither cherry nor chocolate, but again, it smokes cool, and the tobacco taste is quite pleasant. I'm surprised, but not totally disappointed.
I had two cans that were outstandingly cherry. They were delightful, and the aroma drew compliments from passers by.
I settled on three stars, because it is a great smoke with its base tobacco.

Taste like cherry and coco my favorite
5 out of 5
I am a big fan of aromatics and berry flavors keep me going during the hot summer months. However, Cult's BRM is definitely going to be my go-to summer tobacco for its rich and sweet flavor and aroma, and intense cherry hit. Although intense, it is not cloying or gloopy and it burns well in the bowl. Definitely worth the price and I will be buying this again.

Very mellow smoke not bad but not what I’m looking for

Awesome, tried some time ago, great aroma, friends commented after smelling want to start pipe smoking again. I will keep this as my primary tobacco . By far, my favorite from you.

Right up there with Lane's 1Q and a few others.
4 out of 5
The cherry was over powering when I opened the tin.
I thought I had made a mistake but I soldiered on. I let the tobacco dry a moment and loaded a bowl. Delightful... the dark cherry balanced well with vanilla. Burned clean with a light but pleasant room note. The chocolate was absent to my palette . Paired well with my morning coffee.
5 out of 5
This was an awesome blend. Some people claim that it tastes of chocolate and cherry. I tasted no chocolate notes whatsoever, but I was fine with it. Very mellow cherry taste with a vanilla cherry smell. 5/5 easy.
5 out of 5
By far the best cherry flavored blend I've ever had. The hint of chocolate is nice as well. Flavorful but not extremely sweet or overpowering. First bowlful, as usual with a new aromatic, was in a cob (MM Country Gentleman). Cool smoking, no tongue bite, no big nicotine hit and burns nicely. Bought another tin to put down for awhile. Nice addition. Thanks for reading.

Was recommended this by a friend. It’s a nice tobacco

Fantastic smoke for anyone who loves a good aromatic blend. Very good cherry flavor with a hint of chocolate, sweet but not too sweet. No tongue bite whatsoever. Was hard to light at first, I should have let it dry a bit before I put it in the bowl but I just went for it. Will definitely reorder!

Nice room note.

Divine and heavenly blend....miss it at your peril!

thought it would taste heavy on cherry but the cherry is only in beginning. Flavor changes throughout the smoke. Ends up a bit spicy... very nice.

Very smooth with no bite and now my favorite cherry aromatic. I'm now a "CULT" blood red moon follower!

I like it a lot!

Wow. Great aromatic blend. Love the light smoke. Great cherry hint. This is my new favorite.
5 out of 5
Definitely a 5 star blend. Taste like cherry cordials chocolate with every single puff. Retrohale is terrific. No tongue bite. All day smoke. Hardly in stock, so better buy what you can when you can.
4 out of 5
It smokes nicely, but smells a bit like cough syrup. Does not have an overwhelming taste or smell that I expected, but is still very noticeable.
5 out of 5
I give it a 5/5.
4 out of 5
A nice cool, consistent smoke, with mild but good flavor that really hits it's stride about 10 minutes into the smoke. The flavor is good but doesn't seem to keep me interested, I would rate this a 7 or 8 out of 10 tied with or just above Lane Very Cherry, however I much more order CAO Cherry Bomb, it tastes like candy and the vanilla adds a depth to it to keep surprising you at random points in the smoke. It's cool and burns slow and doesn't taste like there's much casing. The room note is marvelous and the taste equally so.

What more should One say?
5 out of 5
But one of my favorite pipe tobacco.
5 out of 5
I have never liked a cherry tobacco until Cult. Most cherry blends, in my view, seem to start off with a cough drop flavor and go downhill from there. Not Cult Blood Red Moon. The cherry is subtle, and the room note is excellent. This also burns exceedingly well--very cool and slow--which I also find unusual for a cherry aromatic. I'm adding this to my regular rotation!

Smells gooooood

If you like cherry this is it. Needs to air out a bit, wife likes the tin and room notes. Creamy smoke, burns nicely.

A great smoke. Burns good and has one of the best aromatics I've ever experienced. I highly recommend.

This is almost better than P????y! (Well Almost!)
5 out of 5
I’m not a big pipe smoker, but I do like cherry aromatics. Unfortunately they usually bite because of the cherry acidic nature. This first Cult tobacco only resembles cherry in my book, but is really mellowed and complimented by the chocolate. I’ve tried chocolate on its own but didn’t like it. This is definitely the best of both, without tasting like either. I also like to see smoke and BRM has that too. It’s my fave for now.

Amazing aromatics and very sweet candy like cherry favors. One of my favorites... it doesn’t last long, so grab it when you can. You will not be disappointed. Happy smoke

I’ve made extra room in the cellar for this wonderful example of a blenders dream. I can’t get over just how much the aroma of this tobacco takes hold of my senses!

This is the first/only flavored pipe tobacco I've tried and liked. Throughout the bowl the cherry flavor is very present. It's somewhat heat sensitive. Smoking low and slow bring highlights the flavor.

I am not an aromatic smoker but this is the best will order again!

Love love love Blood Red Moon wish it came in bigger tins! Great taste and aroma! Keep up the good work!
5 out of 5
The best cherry blend I've had. Actually taste and smells like its description.
5 out of 5
I will say I DO NOT like cherry tobacco but this one hmmmm. I read the description and decided to try it and I am loving this tobacco the cherry is not overpowering and gives way to other flavors. The problem with most all cherries is it taste like cheap cherry not this one it is a very good deep rich cherry and I WILL be buying it again.
5 out of 5
the aroma is fantastic and room note is great. did not notice any bite although i'm a slow smoker.
5 out of 5
Its a amazingly smooth aromatic and it tastes good enough its all i have been smoking for a couple weeks. I should mention that i normally smoke some cherry mixture but this is amazing
5 out of 5
I purchased this along with CAO Cherry Bomb in at the Battle of the Blends discount price. The Blood Red Moon has a much milder cherry flavor than the Cherry Bomb but it is still very much of a scent forward aromatic. In addition to the cherry-vanilla, there is a subtle but wonderful chocolate flavor added that really drives this one home for me. It reminds me of a vanilla sundae with cherries and hot fudge. Best of all, it has no tongue bite.
5 out of 5
Absolute favorite pipe tobacco. I'm an unashamed lover of aromatics and this stuff is the best I've tried. Great tin and room note. If you feel it's too sweet for you, mix it half and half with Cult Militia. I love them both.

Very consistent and delicious

Best cherry tobacco out there! Hands down!
5 out of 5
Amazing if you like cherry aromatics.
5 out of 5
This is my go to cherry tobacco. The flavor is wonderful, a cherry with no bite. I have purchased lots of tins of Blood Red Moon and each has been slow burning, cool, dry smoke with the most pleasing cherry flavor. It is the perfect after dinner sweetness. I have received more than a few compliments of the room note from people. If you want sweet cherry with no bite this is the tobacco to try.
5 out of 5
This stuff is delicious! Dark, sweet, with a hint of cherry - but not so much as to be overwhelming. Stays lit easily, and smells fantastic - I've gotten more complements on the scent of this one than any other. Unless you absolutely hate cherry, or only like things that are sharp and smoky, this is definitely worth a try.
5 out of 5
I thought I gave up on cherry flavored tobacco until I gave this stuff a try. It is delicious and tasty. The underlying cocoa flavor mixes nicely with the cordial cherry topping along with the flavor of the tobacco. I like that you can still taste tobacco leaf with everything else going on. This is a High quality aromatic that I always look forward to smoking.
5 out of 5
You must try this .. different mix hard to explain , but you wont be dissapointed.

Smooth cool smoke, packed full of flavor from start to finish.

I keep trying other tobaccos but always come back to Cult Blood Red Moon. Smells great when you open the can, and smells great when you smoke it. My wife constantly tells me it smells really good.
It also has a great taste! My old standby tobacco!
5 out of 5
this is a great full-bodied blend that will go nicely any time of the year; whether a summers eve by the fire or inside by the woodstove on a bitter day this tobacco will be enjoyable. has A fantastic aroma however the cherry isn't as prominent of a taste as it is a scent.
5 out of 5
Good rich taste, unlike any cherry blend I've had. The cherry isn't chemical tasting, or overpowering. I get as much of a cocoa taste from this. Burns well and no tongue bite.
3 out of 5
I am two days into a tin of Blood Red Moon. I do not find the Cherry to be as overwhelming or present as some have suggested. I believe it is well balanced. I give it 3 out of 5 stars as it is an enjoyable cool smoke. I have been smoking this from a Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit Shire. Perhaps this is a winning combination. A single bowl will last about 30 minutes. The cherry flavor emerges within a minute or two after the tamp. Towards the bottom of the bowl the cherry becomes more prominent. This is the point where I end the session.
5 out of 5
By far, way better than the cherry bomb, cult has a better smell in the tin, smokes way smoother and tastes way better than the Cao cherry bomb... how ever the Cao black and moontrance are very good....
4 out of 5
The only cherry blend I will smoke. Unlike most cherry flavored tobacco, it has no bite and the flavor is a lot less artificial than most others. Ot smokes cool and has a hint of chocolate in the background. When I'm in the mood for an aromatic, Blood Moon provides a nice change of pace from the usual vanilla or rum flavored aromatics that seem all too common on the market today. I always try to keep a tin or two around.

I ordered this for the first time. I had heard good things and normally enjoy cherry blends. Upon opening the tin, I first noted the tobacco is very wet. To some degree, surprisingly so. I allowed the tin to set for about a week occasionally opening the tin to vent the air then had my first bowl. The tin note is a very rich cherry. Less like cherry Kool aid or Lifesaver, more like cherry cordial and paired with the cocoa and vanilla notes it reminded me of black forest cake. There was also a subtle raisin like scent that followed with the topping. The light was a bit difficult to start as the tobacco was damp, but once started smoked well. I experienced no real tongue bite but I was also cautious as I was smoking a wet aromatic. The main reason I give it 3 stars is due to the fact that it has a very heady tin note and pleasant room note, but upon smoking it I found that the flavor was far milder than the tin note would suggest and even the tobacco appeared to be lacking in flavor. The toppings were all very subtle and the tobacco seemed to be missing something satisfying. Overall it is a good smoke. Nice, light, and pleasant. It just didn't knock my socks off. I will try this again soon and will try blending in some Virginia to see if it makes the flavor profile a little more complex and robust.

Of all of the Cult series, this is my favorite. It's probably one of the best Cherry brands they offer here. (My Opinion). If you haven't tried this, please do so. I am almost certain you will not be dissatisfied.

This is a smoke you can enjoy any time of day. The cherry isnt over powering. The tin note is delicious. The room note is good, the wife approved. It will ghost your pipe. Had to leave the tin open for half a day to dryout a bit.
5 out of 5
Very rich and a great aroma. I highly recomend this tobacco. One of my favorites !
5 out of 5
Great smell and taste. I really enjoy the smoke. It's soothing aroma fills the room as soon as you open the tin. I will buy more, it's that good...
5 out of 5
This is my wife's favorite for sharing a pipe with me. I open the tin occasionally to get my sniff on, it's that good.
5 out of 5
I bought this solely on the recommendations and reviews on this website. If you are reading this, do not hesitate, buy this tobacco. Blood Red Moon is the only flavored pipe tobacco I have tried that I bought more of. It actually tastes like cherries and not some bland burley blend with a good room note. I've been smoking it out of a meerschaum keeping it low and slow.
3 out of 5
I ordered Captain Black Cherry at the same time as Cult and, for me, the Cap'n Black was superior; however, Cult is good.
5 out of 5
I'm still new to pipe smoking, but this one so far is one of my favorites. I loaded up one of my cobs and had a great evening smoke. It's hard for me to be subjective on taste as usually, I only taste tobacco as I am a former cigarette smoker and I think my taste buds are kinda dead.
5 out of 5
I have a bad habit of almost never finishing a can of anything because there’s always something new to try. Well, I finished this one. Easy to light, never harsh, incredible taste and aroma, burns all the way to the bottom with no hotness to it at all. I’ll be back for more.
5 out of 5
I bought this for my husband and he says this is the best he has tried.
5 out of 5
Smooth and tasty. Cool smoke with no bite. I may suggest to dedicate one pipe for this as the taste lingers. It will need to be cleaned often but it is well well worth it.
5 out of 5
Mellow with excellent flavor. I ordered 4 more cans to stock up.
5 out of 5
A must try.
Puts off massive ultra white clouds of smoke. Which is cool. Somewhat like a steam engine. No exaggeration.
Smells uniquely different than anything else.
However... my pipe stayed packed with this stuff for a week and at times it left me wanting something a bit stronger. It happens ya know!? 5 stars anyhows for its that special. It has its place for sure... in my pipe.
Will be ordering some more soon. Choo! Choo!
4 out of 5
Mmm mmm Cherry, Vanilla and Chocolate. It's a tasty treat on a cool spring day. I really love the perfect balance of the flavors in this blend. It isn't overly anything. The cherry notes are pure. The vanilla and chocolate never upstage; they are just as they should be: a complimentary player in a splendid performance. When I'm feeling cherry I reach for CBRM!
5 out of 5
Total novice to pipes but I love what I've tasted so far. Smooth, good flavor with a hint of cherry on the inhale. Doesn't burn hot even when smoked fast. Which is a plus since I have been using a very small corn cob pipe.

Nice and smooth. Definitely one of my favorites.
4 out of 5
Good tobacco. Smells good, kinda has a plum or fruitcake smell.
4 out of 5
Great aroma, it was a great smoke the room note was very pleasant. The only reason it has 4 starts is that it had a slight tongue bite, other than that this is my new favorite evening smoke
5 out of 5
This to me is the perfect pipe tobacco. The tin note, room note, and taste are all very pleasant. It's easy to judge the moisture content and adjust the pack for the perfect burn. I love aromatics, and this is my favorite so far. Some say it's a dessert tobacco and I do think it's great for that but to me it's not sickly sweet. I like it any time of day.
5 out of 5
I've tried several cherry aromatics and Cult BRM is the only one that I've found to have a great room note AND no tongue bite. The flavor is mellow but present, but not overwhelming. I had just about given up on the cherries until I found this. If I smoke it too quickly or pack it too tightly, I do find there is a little bit of gurgle. I'll definitely be purchasing more!
5 out of 5
just plain enjoyable.

The title say it all. I have tried several but always come back to Cult BRM.

Good stuff wish the flavor was a little stronger.

Love this stuff! Pipes and cigars did a great job.
5 out of 5
Really nice even burning smoke with a nice aroma and no harsh taste...love it
5 out of 5
This is probably the best cherry tobacco that I gave tried. Most of the cherries, which I've smoked, have had too much topping and burned a bit hot. This one was quite pleasant. :O)
5 out of 5
Cult, Blood Red Moon lives up to the hype. Great flavor, that stays great as you continue smoke the bowl down. Pleasant chreey, with a chocolate, or even mocha, note underneath. I totally get the cherry cordial comparison, delicious! Great room note, it smokes well, no harshness or bite, no complaints. I think this is my new go to pipe tobacco. I am going to try mixing it as well, with perhaps some vanilla bl cavendish, or perhaps espresso.
5 out of 5
This is hands down my favorite tobacco. It burns smooth and doesn't get harsh at all. I've tried several others in the cherry aromatic category and the Cult Blood Red Moon is the best flavor by far. It's not tangy and it's not overpowering. The smoke is creamy and has a great flavor that's sweet but not saccharine. It's great. If you're looking for a good cherry aromatic, get this.
Only downside is that it's only sold in cans, and since I smoke it all the time, that can get a bit pricey.
5 out of 5
Wonderful taste and smell.

Absolutely loved this tobacco, although it has an extremely strong cherry smell when you open the tin the taste isn't overpowering at all! Perfect with a nice foral IPA.

Not going to lie to you, every time you finish a bowl of this bad boy, you’ll be counting down the time until you can have it again. It’s just THAT good. For anyone who is hesitant about getting this... here’s your sign. You won’t regret it!

Not much of an Aero smoker anymore, but this was one of the best cherry I have tried
5 out of 5
I'm new, so I looked at some forums and ordered things that sounded good. Eileen's Dream, Molto Dolce, Plantation Rum and Blood Red Moon. After a couple weeks, BRM is my favorite. Great flavor, very enjoyable and room note. Love it.
5 out of 5
Smooth and mild not too much cherry but not too little.
4 out of 5
This tobacco smoked well right down to the bottom of the bowl. Great to have in my rotation as a change from va/pers and latakia blends which I also enjoy. It has a pleasant room odor which non-smokers may appreciate.
4 out of 5
Nice cherry note, not artificial or overbearing. Chocolate and vanilla combine with the cherry to produce a very satisfying, cool smoke.
5 out of 5
Take what you know about "cherry" tobaccos and toss it out with the trash! This is what it should taste and smell like. No sickly sweet artificial cough syrup cherry casings here. Everything about Blood Red Moon screams real dark cherries with hints of cocoa. Do yourself a favor and try a tin!
5 out of 5
Incredibly smooth and mild with a wonderful tin and room note. I highly recommend this blend.
5 out of 5
Great smoke for me, and my wife found it pleasant to be around...a combination that is a winner in my book.
5 out of 5
great will buy more
3 out of 5
It's a quality tobacco. It's a bit on the sweet end for me, I ended up having it with some MacBaren Mixture to tone down the cherry sweetness a bit and it was very enjoyable with the added nuttiness of the Mixture. I only give it a 3 star because I will not likely order again. But if you like a cherry flavor this one will be pleasing to you.
5 out of 5
A wonderful aromatic and flavorful smoke.. Burns perfectly down the bowl. The Cherry smell very strong right from the tin, but no where overpowerful when once lit... I loved this Blends pleasantly smooth sweet smoke that I purchased more just to make sure I don't run out..

This tobacco is one of the best out there. A smooth chocolatey note. Abacus and Profile are quite good too.

A wee bit over hyped. But , a solid room note and a good flavor . I would buy a different blend first before I rebought this one. I wouldn’t say no to another bowl of it however!

It is a great smoke

I like this for the ability to use it as a 'mixer'. There's a sweet, slightly fruity room note. I prefer this in my burley-rich tobacco.
5 out of 5
I'm pretty new to pipe smoking still, but flavors like this make me glad I smoke pipe. Very rich flavor without being cloying. My only complaint is that it seems to leave a bit of gummy residue in the bowl, but nothing a pipe tool can't clean!
5 out of 5
This is the aromatic I have been waiting for. Beautiful tin note, easy light, good moisture content, room note is beyond pleasant. This is the one your wife lets you smoke in the house. Its now on my must have list. Strong cherry, but certainly worth it. A little bitey due to the cavendish, but if you are a patient smoker all is good.
4 out of 5
the tin was difficult to open and once opened the smell was a little strong like a sickly sweet candy. Although I then found it pleasantly surprising with the scent, the flavor was reminiscent of 'Maraschino cherries' and very pleasant to smoke. Others commented on the pleasant smoke as well.
I would recommend it for smokers looking for a change of pace.

Good stuff. Seems to be to be a cross of 65% Lane's 1-Q, 20% Lane's BCA, 15% Lane's Very Cherry. Mix them together in a mason jar, marry them for a week and tell me I'm wrong. Not exact, but close. I only open this tin during a hot summer night where I can load up a corncob, stark nude, and howl at the full moon.

A wonderful sweet cherry mix that has lots of flavor, great room aroma, and is cool smoking, no bite, and even burning in my pipe.
I will defiantly order more of this in the near future. I am looking forward to a few other Cult items if they are as good as this tobacco
5 out of 5
Without a doubt the best cherry tobacco I have ever tasted. It is now my go to blend for smoking around nonsmokers.
4 out of 5
Very tasty and enjoyable smoke - cherry with subtle notes of chocolate. Those around me were pleased by its aroma as well.
5 out of 5
-I am a devoted English/Balkan guy who likes an occasional change-of-pace aromatic. When I opened the tin, the aroma of cherries and chocolate was delightful, without being over-powering. The tobacco was neither dry nor wet. It packed easily, lit easily, and smoked easily without a hitch. There was very little gurgling, it smoked cool, and, as advertised, tasted like a cherry cordial. The chocolate and cherry flavors are sophisticated and rich in flavor and aroma. This will become a steady change-of-pace in my rotation.
3 out of 5
Not as good as it should be
5 out of 5
Wonderful virgina tobacco cased wirh tart red cherry that combines so you can enjoy both. No chemical after taste and no bite. This is a aro that the smoker enjoys more than the people around him. Not to say that the room note isn't fantastic, because it is, but if your more concerned with room note than flavor buy a can of glade. They a lot so do a nice job with Cult Embassy if you're in the mood for latika.
5 out of 5
As long as you don't mind that it's more maraschino cherry flavored than natural, you will likely enjoy this aromatic very much! Plenty of chocolate and cherry flavor that smokes extremely smooth.

Best cherry tobacco out there. Have tried about a dozen others, and nothing come close to comparison.

I’m new to pipe smoking and had read the reviews on this one. Spot on! I am a huge fan and hooked now!

I’m not a big Cherry guy But I really enjoyed this tin of tobacco it was so delicious definitely an all day smoke, However I’m starting to realize that black Cavendish isn’t what I like it’s too strong for me but this tobacco still is great and I would definitely get it again.

This is a very smooth smoke with a great aroma. I experienced no tongue bite at all, and enjoyed it to the end. The tobacco itself has a cherry lozenge smell, but none of the medicine taste. It's very sweet and pleasing. For pipe tobacco, I am more of an aromatic person. When I want more of a punch, I'll reach for a cigar.

Burns very nice. Decent flavor, cherry flavor very delicate.

Bought the item for my husbands 80th birthday. The can was intriguing and the contents even more so. Got to have a few puffs myself. Very tasty.

35 years ago when I started smoking a pipe I tried "cherry" flavored aromatics. My buddy another pipe smoker said that they smelled like I was smoking a bowl full of maraschino cherries. I had to agree and have never bought any cherry since then. I'm usually an open minded smoker and willing to experiment so when I couldn't find CAO's Eileen's Dream in stock I decided to find some other "desert" smoke. The reviews of this are spot on. The tin smell is kind of overwhelming just like other cherry tobaccos but when smoked the taste and room note are of dark chocolate with hints of cherry undertone. This is incredible! I'll be buying more.

If you like pipe tobacco with a cherry flavor than this is the one to try. It is not over powering, no bite but with plenty of flavor to satisfy the most discriminating taste buds.
5 out of 5
Very cherry-forward in tin note with a creamy, mildly sweet flavor and thick mouthfeel. You'll also get generous smoke clouds from this blend. I've not smoked it in the presence of others but I suspect the room note opinion would be quite positive. It's part of my rotation for all blends. Very enjoyable.

Best cherry pipe tobacco out there. Have tried numerous others, and none come even close. Don't waste your time on anything else if you are looking for a cherry pipe tobacco.

This is a smooth easy burning tobacco very enjoyable will buy again.

So a tin of this tobacco came with a wonderful Stanwell Brushed Brown. I never thought I would want a cherry topped blend but this one drives me crazy. Very rich and lush, that chocolate on the palate just rounds it all out. The aftertaste and lingering smell in my nostrils is very nice. This needs to be offered up in bulk, it’s a fantastic aromatic.
4 out of 5
I will admit, upon opening the tin, I was a bit put-off by the children's cherry-flavored cough syrup smell (my personal opinion, to each their own). It reminded me of an even cheaper, heavily topped with cherry black cavendish, which I will not name here.
However, after the char light and things got heated up, the tin note was in fact, not AT ALL representative of the smoke, not in the least bit. There is a fair amount of burley with the virginia's which really tames the cherry topping added in this mix. It was not too tart (characteristic of the cherry topped aromatic), which I enjoyed. It was relatively cool burning. I enjoyed it, and SWMBO liked it was well.
I will also admit, I like my english and balkan blends more than my aros, but I will always keep a mason jar of this on hand. I think it is that good.

Extremely fast shipping awesome website no problems whatsoever and they have a vast amount in different types of tobacco's flavors everything if you don't show up here for tobacco your nuts

I have tried several cherry aromatic blends over the years, but Cult Blood Red Moon is a head and shoulders above the rest. Most of the ones I have tried in the past either go overboard on the topping, or have a medicine like flavor or smell. Mild cherry and chocolate notes highlight this satisfying blend from Cult. This is the standard by which all cherry aromatics should be judged. I will definitely be trying more Cult blends in the future...

Smells just like a cherry Tootsie Pop--Which is a good thing. Won't bite, burns well and tastes just like it smells. The tobacco is not covered by the casing, which burns off towards the last third of the bowl. Highly recommended as an all-day or special-occasion smoke.

This tobacco was delicious and appealed to my senses! Not too sweet and very smooth, puffs of blood red moon is now a family favorite. Thanks!

I stopped in at the Cigars International store (the owners of P&C ) in Hamburg, PA last Sunday and found a dozen tins of Cult Blood Red Moon in the bargain bin. All the cans were dented but the seals were intact as far as I could tell. At $3.00 per tin I figured I had little to lose so I bought two tins. Many of the reviews that I've read jibe with my opinion of the blend: easy smoking, bite free and heavy cherry cordial taste, tin note and initial room aroma. A pleasant smoke which I'll enjoy only outdoors as the residual room odor is a bit off putting. Reminiscent of a rearview mirror dangling "air freshner" from the 1970's. I don't think that I'll be buying more of it.
5 out of 5
I am really enjoying this aromatic. It has a very nice room note, totally wife approved! Also, you can taste the cherry, which is pretty good. Overall, it’s a pleasant smoke!
4 out of 5
It's a great choice and vary smooth blend. No tongue bite or overdose i.e. that flavor when you packed too much in one night. My biggest disappointment with this particular choice, I'm not a big fan of the cordial cherry. I found that it smells very sweet. A bit off putting for me. All other traits were simply smashing. KUDOS must also go the designers of the blend, and mostly of the tin. I recommend it highly. I give it 8.

There is more than a cherry "note" here. If you are are the fence about Aromatics, try this one in a Cob before you commit one of your favorite pipes to it, as it will Ghost yor pipe. While I found it somewhat pleasant, it is not for me.

This is *the* de facto cherry pipe tobacco of our time. Nothing else comes close.

My new favorite. Smooth with no bite. Ideal for a novice pipe user like me.

Have been looking forward to receiving this tin all week. First sip was smooth with thick, creamy smoke - no bite; great taste through bottom of bowl; delicious room note. Will purchase more...

Let it dry a bit and breath. Light up and enjoy its smooth flavor and aroma. Smooth with no bite. From start to finish the flavor comes threw. Great room note, mild and relaxing. This and Cherrybomb are my two choices and at a great price. Delivery well that is a USPO and UPS problem BUT P&S did their part.

Amazing taste! Smooth without much bite at all. Definitely a smoke you can enjoy all day long. Not to sweet with total flavor.
5 out of 5
Excellent taste and aroma. It has immediately found a place in my rotation. Very smooth cherry and vanilla smoke.
4 out of 5
Good stuff! The only thing i have to complain about is it has a bit more nicotine content than the other aromatics i smoke. But all in all it is amazing.
4 out of 5
Good enough to keep in rotation, but, Captain Black Cherry is better and my go to for cherry.

Smooth and great taste
3 out of 5
I keep trying aromatics with the hope of finding one I like. So far this is the first. You can smell it, you can taste, it's not low grade tobacco, and smokes easy.
5 out of 5
Wow! I was expecting an overly sweet toungue bite bonanza ( as i do with many Cherry tobaccos ), but am I impressed!! Super smooth, great smoke, not too sweet, very rich and milky smoke, and does wonders in a corncob! Definitley will be reordering!
5 out of 5
Bar none the ONLY cherry flavored smoke that you can taste cherry! Nothing big even competes with this
5 out of 5
I've tried a number of Cherry blends over the years. Most ranged from the extremes of "not much flavor" to "Nasty cough syrup". CULT BLOOD RED MOON IS THE BOMBDIGGITY. Great flavor and room note. Wife loves it. I just grabbed another 4 tins on sale to last me through the end of the year. Get ya some!!!
5 out of 5
Literally the only cherry blend I smoke. It has a great room note. The taste isn't overly sweet. Very balanced. Overall, just an enjoyable smoke all around.
5 out of 5
Great flavor its like eating a fine chocolate. It's just the right amount of vanilla to the hint of chocolate met with the rich cherry that is not overbearing in any part great blend for the price pleasant room note even to non smokers at least in my case
4 out of 5
This fruity, smokey flavor last in your mouth long after you smoke it and I found it very enjoyable. I get comolinates or its aroma all the time. Very pleasing to the entire room.

one of the only aromatics i have tried that is true to description.

I purchased a tin of this based on the hype and popularity, and it wasn't very expensive, so i thought that I would give it a try. It smells great in the tin, but as a smoker of mostly aromatic blends, I found it to be harsh and rather tasteless. I seldom review any of the tobaccos that I purchase from P & C unless I have not enjoyed them, and I purchase many different kinds. Almost all of them are excellent. I have smoked worse (OLE SHENANDOAH--the absolute worst), but this was not something that I would ever purchase again. Stick with Lane 1Q or any of the other Lane products. Almost all of them are excellent and also not very expensive. This is for the people who smoke drugstore tobacco ONLY.

Perfect blend of vanilla, dark chocolate, and black cherry make this tobacco the petfect after dinner treat. Love it!
4 out of 5
This tabacco has good flavor i bought it as a replacement for a tabacco that I could buy at a local shop but they quit blending it so I logged on to this site looking for a good cherry aromatic and tried this one and really enjoyed it my only problem with it is that it tends to smoke really wet and need to sit in the tin for a while to dry out a little
5 out of 5
It's nice every now & then to smoke Cult's Blood Red Moon. Get a taste of the best, then compare it to others to get yr opinon.

I seldom smoke aromatics, but I make an exception for Cult Blood Red Moon.
4 out of 5
smooth and enjoyable, very little cherry

Heard about this stuff from watching smoking dagners, wasnt sure if id like it since im not much of an aromatic smoker but i absolutely love it. No tongue bite or too much hear from it at all. Will definatly order more to keep my stock up.
4 out of 5
This was the first Cult tobacco I've tried. I like it. I bought it based on the other reviewers comments. As some other reviewers have stated, this isn't the a dark, black cherry. It's more like a maraschino cherry with some chocolate notes added, but that is exactly what I was looking for. I've received a lot of positive comments on the aroma too. It may not be perfect, but it is a great addition to my rotation. Well done Cult.
3 out of 5
Great quality tobacco.. but, I was expecting it to be the be all end all of cherry blends. Although it's nice touch with a cream taste, I'll stick with bulk cherry flavors. Isn't something I can justify paying more for the tin when a bulk is just as good imo
4 out of 5
Very unique room note nice flavor, not for inhalers it will make you cough.
5 out of 5
This stuff is great, the best cherry blend I've tried. Very smooth cherry top with sweet almost banana like deep base that is really just spot on together. It's hard for me to find aromatics that taste like anything to me especially fruity ones, but this one has substantial flavor and smells great of course.

Decent Flavor, Tin note is Good and Room note is Alright

This is a very pleasant change from my normal English rotation. Great cherry based room note with no bite.

Complete fake cherry taste, poorest cherry blend that I have ever smoked
4 out of 5
A shame Sutliffe made a big change with one of their finest tobaccos the Cult Blood Red Moon made up up for it BIG TIME!! A very smooth easy smoking tobacco that you can smoke with a good beer or even all day! Thank you Cult!!
3 out of 5
Smells better than it smokes. I smoke aromatics about 1 in 10 bowls, and love a good cherry, but this one was just okay.
4 out of 5
Very nice smoke. Mild...smooth and cool burning
5 out of 5
Best cherry tabac I've found. Been looking for a decent cherry tabac for an occasional change of pace. After trying several, Cult has been the best. Wonderful tin smell, good room note, and tastable cherry in the smoke - while not tasting chemical or leaving an aftertaste. Really an enjoyable smoke. Smoked slowly and lightly packed. With that there was not bite and didn't burn high. Wish this was sold in bulk. Will buy again.

One of the best I've ever had!
3 out of 5
Decent blend with a pleasant room note. I thought it was a little heavy on cherry.
5 out of 5
This is a delicious cherry tobacco. Do not pack this tobacco too tight or it will bite you. Enjoy slowly.
5 out of 5
This is the cat's meow when it comes to an aromatic cherry blend. I'm happy that a blender finally came along & did this flavoring justice! Excellent tobacco taste commingled with a flavorful cherry/chocolate nuance. No soapy chemical taste here like with some cherry tobacs. Certainly worth a try if you're any Aro pipe person.
5 out of 5
Outstanding product, wife loves the room note, I like the smoke, good evening pipe.
5 out of 5
I love the flavor and coolness of this pipe tobacco.
3 out of 5
This stuff is solid, but seems to be way overrated. Smells great in the tin, although the cherry is more of a cherry flavoring akin to candy, soft drinks, chap stick, etc., not the warm, deep, low-noted black cherry. I got some chocolate/cocoa notes from it, but they were overpowered by the cherry. Good cut and moisture. Tried to bite, but just kept a high-pitched tingle, instead.
5 out of 5
A great mild cherry blend without the bite found in most blends. Smokes cool, and burns completely
4 out of 5
It is delicious and so aromatic, but it burns pretty hot and fast, probably from the Virginia content, and needs to be packed hard and smoked slowly. I only took away a star because of that fact. You need to respect the speed of this stuff, and if you do then you will have a GREAT smoke.
5 out of 5
Purchased this to try after seeing it smoked often on a blog. I was extremely pleased. Not often you find a very chery tobacco that smokes well. There is no bitterness or bite and burns well. It has become a good go to.
5 out of 5
Smooth, flavorful throughout the whole smoke. No pesky tongue bite. All and all a great tobacco
5 out of 5
Mild. Not overpowering. Extremely smooth.

I am an English Blend smoker. Not to hot on aromatics and candy smokes. Saying that I give this 4 stars. This is a really good smoke for a change of pace. I will buy this again.
5 out of 5
Nice and smooth! It was my first time trying, but I think the Cult line will a new line to buy. Didn't run hot, great smell.
5 out of 5
This is by far the best cherry tobacco I've smoked! Smooth enough to be enjoyed all with no tongue bite. The room notes are exquisite!
3 out of 5
A pretty decent tin tobacco, but very sweet. The cherry can be almost overpowering. Very pleasant room note as a result. It also is a very damp tobacco, so pipe bite was a problem for me the first few times I smoked it.
5 out of 5
I absolutely love cult blood red moon. My first thought when I opened the tin was it smells so good you could almost eat it! Right away you can smell the cherry and dark chocolate. No Tounge bite at all and taste good from first light all the way to the bottom of the bowl. Definitely one of my top three favorites
4 out of 5
While I prefer the milder cherry note of the Cao offerings, blood red moon is an amazing smoke. My wife loves the room note. The flavor and quality are top notch!
5 out of 5
Exceptionally smooth even smoke. I haven't had my pipe for long, but this is by far my favorite tobacco to date.
5 out of 5
Enjoyed it, probably get some more
5 out of 5
Normally I am not a fan of heavily aromatic tobaccos, but this is neat. The base tobaccos are the ones I like with a cherry topping. The best cherry tobacco I've had. Very pleasant to smoke and easy on the tongue. Too bad it is not available in bulk.
4 out of 5
If you try searching for "best cherry pipe tobacco", it doesn't take you long to learn that the endorphin rush of smelling cherry flavored tobacco doesn't usually carry through to the actual smoking of it. Cult Blood Red Moon is the product you've been looking for. The bouquet is what you love about smoking an aromatic. The room note is good. And the flavor is very neutral.
The problem with Cherry aromatics is they tend to have a sharp unpleasant bite. Everyone else in the room is happy from the room note, but the smoker is quite perplexed that something so heavenly in the tin is devilish on the tongue.
I would give it five stars for a cherry tobacco, 4 stars when compared to other tobaccos.
This has a very light flavor and mild aftertaste. It is a perfect light smoke for when you don't want an English aftertaste lingering on your palate.

Flavor stays longer than most and fire cured cavendish is a great blend!

VERY smooth, tastes of dark chocolat covered cherries, need more.....

Great cherry flavor. Not overwhelming.

Solid cherry tobacco. Very moist, but seems to defy logic and burn better than you would think. Recommend drying at least an hour. Reminds me of a better quality tk6.

As a new pipe smoker, this was my first pipe tobacco i bought and was not disappointed at all once i got use to it. Very nice smoke in a corn cob pipe! You get the dark chocolate taste with the cherry note on top. Can't go wrong with this tobacco at all! I plan to order more once i run out!

VerY good aromatic. Highly recommend

tried it because of the fanfare - not for me - way too sweet with lingering nasty on the tongue

NOT FOR ME. SMOKED ONE BOWL AND GAVE IT AWAY. TO HEAVY ON YHE CHERRY. IT OVERPOWERED THE TOBACCO

Tried this at a friends house and was hooked. The soft notes when you first taste it carry all the way through to the end. One of my new favorites.

The perfect way to start a morning! My dad was a cherry Aero smoker, but his blends were nothing like this, smooth, not bitter at all even at the bottom of the bowl. A very pronounced cherry tin and room note and a first rate tobacco. I am a big fan of adding a little Virgina to the mix and this does it perfectly. !

OK THIS IS A OK CHERRY BLEND. NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER CHERRY BLEND TO ME. FACT IS I HAVE TRIED THIS BLEND, OLE CHENENDOA BOOTLEGGED(NO DIDNT SPELL THAT RIGHT) , BUTTERNUT BURLEY AND ALL THE OTHER GREAT REVIEW TOBACCOS AND SO FAR MY FAVORITE IS OFFICERS CLUB FROM EAST INDIA AND ALSO SCOTTYS PANCAKE. I HAVE ALSO TRIED THE NASTY TASTE OF MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND SMOKED ALL OF THE BEST AND EVEN THE BEST OF THE REST. OF COURSE THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION BUT FACT IS AROUND PEOPLE AND EVEN A SMALL CROWD I HAVE ALWAYS GOTTIN A COMPLIMENT ON SCOTTYS PANCAKE BUT NEVER BEEN COMPLIMENTED ON ANY OF THESE OTHER SMOKES. EVERYTIME I SMOKE SCOTTYS PANCAKE SOMEONE WALKING BY OR AROUND ALWAYS ASK WHAT KIND OF TOBACCO IS THAT YOUR SMOKING IT SMELLS WONDERFUL. TRY A ONCE AND FOR A FEW BUCKS AND YOU WILL SEE MY FRIENDS.

Amazing tobacco, I've tried so many different types and I finally found my tobacco of choice
5 out of 5
very interesting tobacco. I find the beginning of every bowl to give off that nice cherry taste then as I reach the half way to bottom, I get the rich chocolate flavors. smells and tastes EXACTLY like one of those cherry tootsie pops. this stuff doesn't give up either, usually with cherry aros I find halfway thru to get burnt and give off a bad taste... NOT THIS STUFF!
4 out of 5
Cult's Blood Red Moon is a very decent aromatic. Slow burning down to a cool ash. Take your time with this one and don't rush the bowl or it will like most aromatics breakdown in flavor and bite. If it does bite though it is not harsh. It is a good smoke all around.
5 out of 5
Absolutely!!!! A must have in your rotation!!!!!
5 out of 5
This blend is suprisingly good. I have been on the hunt for my perfect cherry blend and this could be it. It's like Lanes Verry Cherry but smoother. Almost like Hobbit's weed but much cheaper
5 out of 5
I've probably tried a hundred different cherry blends and rejected each one for various reasons. No so with this one! If there is a perfect cherry, this is it.
5 out of 5
Finally switched over to full time Pipe smoker, this most pleasant and satisfying tobacco blend has me as a full time buyer from now on ..
5 out of 5
One of the best I have ever used
5 out of 5
This is hands down my favorite pipe tobacco, notes of cherry and chocolate. If you like aromatics and you like cherry you will love this pipe tobacco.
5 out of 5
I guess there is little to add to the other comments. If you like red sky you will probably like this. I like to breath out smoke through my nose (retrohale?) and inhale. Yes i know that is bad form. With stronger tobaccos that is unpleasant but blood red moon is mild enough so that I can smoke that way.
5 out of 5
6 stars if I could. This is it. The pefect cherry. No bite, smoked to ash. Smells and tastes great.
3 out of 5
This has a VERY light cherry flavor, but the tobacco in and of itself just is not very good (in my humble opinion). I have always enjoyed the occasional cherry bomb, but this just did not work for me, on any level. I was greatly disappointed with this product. There are too many other incredibly good tobaccos out there. You should never smoke something you don't like. I do not recommend this, even to cherry lovers. Especially to cherry lovers.
Giving this to my brother, bc he will smoke anything.
5 out of 5
Such and incredible smooth smoke, with just the right hint of cheery and not overpowering in sweetness. I'm glad that I gave it a try, in all honesty, I bought it because of the tin and name, but all the same I'm glad I did.
5 out of 5
For an aromatic this holds a bold flavor. The cherry is smooth, tickles the throat (after a 40 minute burn) and the chocolate you taste on the release. Definitely has become a top 5 for my collection.
3 out of 5
Cherry flavor was very weak
5 out of 5
This is one of my favorite tobaccos. The cherry taste comes through, but is not over powering. It is a very good smoke that goes great with coffee and cream. I can't wait to get my hands on more of it.
5 out of 5
Can't wait to get another tin...
5 out of 5
Of all the pipe tobacco I've tried, Blood Red Moon secured its place among my favorites almost immediately. The flavors blend perfectly together to give this tobacco a distinct cherry and chocolate note that other brands just can't match. I would highly recommend this to my friends and will be purchasing this spectacular product again.
5 out of 5
Blood Red Moon is pure pleasure. Drawing in the thick cherry & vanilla flavored Cavendish smoke, letting it roll around in my moth before exhaling, unbelievable, Relaxing. Satisfying.
4 out of 5
This is my second sampling of a Cult product and I really liked it. The Cult Blood Red Moon has a noticeable cherry aroma and flavor but not too light or not too heavy - just right in my opinion. This one you can smoke several times a day and not get tired of it but I still like the Captain Black Red Sky for my cherry fix.
4 out of 5
fine stuff, smells good ,smokes out right away, smokes cool -if you are in cherry should give it a try
5 out of 5
I have tried a variety of cherry flavored tobacco and the Cult Red has a nice sweet taste without the bitterness and aftertaste that most cherry blends leave. Highly recommended.
5 out of 5
Not an every day smoke more of a treat! Treat yourself !will recommend
4 out of 5
I generally don't like aromatics, preferring English blends. When I received a tin of Blood Red Moon the cherry aroma was a little strong but not unpleasant. After a few bowls I decided that I did not enjoy it at all. I tucked it into a mason jar and forgot about it for several months. When I finally decided to give it another shot I was pleasantly surprised to find that letting it age a bit mellows the entire smoking experience. The cherry flavor is just right for a warm spring afternoon sitting in the sun. If you don't like aromatics, this one is worth a shot, especially if you give it some time to age.

This is my official go to tobacco. Very nice and Jello and smells great too
5 out of 5
Great cherry flavor with a hint of chocolate. Initially it is a little too moist and needs to sit with the lid off for a little while. Otherwise smoked tasty and cool down to the last puff. Probably one of the better cherry blends I have tried.
4 out of 5
Really enjoyed this smoke. Love the smell, i'm still left looking for the perfect cherry tobacco.
5 out of 5
I've tried a few other cherry blends and they all over powered the smoke or get severe tongue bite! Love Cult and what they've done with their take on the cherry blend.
5 out of 5
I have now smoked several bowls of this and really enjoyed it. The smell when you first open the tin is very pungent. It reminded me at first of a strong medicinal cherry cough syrup. But as it lingered it became very pleasant. I am a newbie since 8/2015 and truly enjoy aromatics. I have been looking for that all around cherry tobacco and This Is The ONE!. Love the room note of it, didn't bite at all and the swirl of cherry in my mouth was very pleasing if only for a moment.
5 out of 5
Best cherry blend on the market.

I must say this is one of the best cherry flavored tobaccos Ive ever had. It literally coats your mouth with a strong cherry flavor. One of my favorite smokes.

Very good blend, watched a couple reviews on this and wanted to try it. Go out and get a tin you won't be disappointed!

It came in on time it was one of the best tobacco I have tried
5 out of 5
Outstanding tobacco! Packs well, burns well leaving nothing but white ash, no tongue bite and it tastes amazing! Very flavorful, chocolate cherry taste all the way through the bowl from top to bottom. I always keep this stuff on hand and I always will. Hands down my favorite tobacco.
5 out of 5
I am a real Cavendish man, my favorites being Lanse BCA and Russ's The Cavendish in the Woods. When it comes to cherry flavored tobacco's I am extremely cautious. A friend suggested I try Cult Blood Red Moon, so I brought a tin. When I opened the tin it was love at first sight. The aroma is simply breathtaking. I immediately picked one of my clean pipes and packed it and fired up. One of the first things I noticed was that it packed easy and lite right up. The taste is just awesome, the vanilla cherry flavoring comes right through and wonders of wonders no bite. While I tend to smoke this slow and savor the flavor, you can puff it like a frieght train and it still won't bite. Ir requires few relights and burns evenly. I experienced no aftertaste. It has an appealing room note and can be smoked any time. I tend to prefer a bowl right after meals or just for a change of pace. It is now. a active part of my rotation and I am never without at least 5 tins. This Cult Blood Red Moon must be popular as I have noticed it goes on back order at P&C occasionally. Give it a try and I promise you it will fast become a part of your ratation!
5 out of 5
I don't like to take chances and try something new, because I end up wasting money and going right back to my favorite. I haven't tried anything new for a while, so I bought this and it is a great smoke. It smokes the same all the way through, has a fantastic smooth flavor and a pleasant lasting one. Very interesting. I keep smoking it to see if I like it as much as when I first tried it.

Cherry blend that don't bite. Nuff said

I have only been smoking pipes for a few months. I found myself enjoying cigars less and less looking for more developed flavors and immediately fell in love with pipe tobacco. What can I say about Blood Red that hasn't been said already? Nothing, but I can confirm it is incredibly user friendly offering zero tounge bite. It isn't overly moist IMO, packs beautifully, and has all the rich undertones you smell when pop the tin open. Chocolate cherries and vanilla? Yes, I'll be keeping this on hand for the foreseeable future. The only drawbacks are noticeable ghosting when switching blends but this dissipates quickly if you rotate your tobaccos from smoke to smoke/pipe to pipe.

Great smell opening the tin and although the tobacco appeared moister than it actually was I still let it sit out for awhile. The cherry smell did tone down some and when lite the aroma was subtle as was the taste. It burned well, no gurgle or bite, still tasted the cherry but it didn't overpower the tobacco. All in all I really enjoyed Cult Blood Red Moon and will buy again.

Great smoke! I choose this off the "staff picks" from the front of the catalogue a couple months ago. I normally don't go after aromatics but this one is changing my mind. I've also been told never judge a tobacco by the tin it comes in, but hey; this one has a cool looking cover! Here's my personal guarantee; if you purchase this and don't like it, send it to me and I'll smoke it for you!!!

Just like their cigars, Cult makes an excellent pipe tobacco. Although not my first choice, I do appreciate a fine aromatic and this is the best aromatic I have smoked that has a pronounced non-tobacco flavor. Much much better than other cherry blends I have had, this is an aromatic that will make a non-aromatic smoker think twice. Just like everything else Cult has to offer, if your a smoker you have to try it at least once.

Sweet smoke! It has been years since I tried a tobac with cherry, this is a great addition to my rotation.

Back to pipe smoking after 15 year cigar break. Have purchased many (maybe too many) Tins and pouches of tobacco in the last few months. Have smoked three bowls of the Blood Red Moon. The first was OK, but not exceptional. Took the advice of the other reviewers and let it dry out a little. Turned into an exceptional smoke. Sweet, smooth and smokes easy. Although I like aromatics, I mostly lean towards vanilla. Purchased as a homage to my Father who smoked Half and Half and some cherry something he bought at the drugstore. Dad would have liked it. Would purchase again.

I haven't smoked an aromatic blend in over 15 years, but decided to give one a try so I wouldn't have to smoke in the garage over the holidays. After reading a bunch of reviews I decided to try Cult Blood Red Moon. Fired some up this evening just before bed, about an hour after a enjoying a load of Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the Cult offering, but ai was pleasantly surprised. The BRM is pretty darn tasty. It's sweet, mellow and doesn't bite at all. And the room note? Everyone loved it, including me.
Now I will not be adding this to my regular rotation, but I will always keep some around. Very highly recommended.

Not a huge cherry fan but thought I would give it a shot. I smoked my first bowlful yesterday right out of the tin- the aroma from the tin is almost overwhelming. However smoking it is very nice- cherries and a little bit of chocolate. GREAT room note. Cool and dry smoke right out of the tin. No bite. f you're on the fence- go for it!

The black cavendish & Virginias are complemented by the zesty burley. A lot of cherry blends will just have Virginia in it. This is a rare cherry blend that I love. Unlike most cherry blends that have that horrible cough syrup aftertaste. I taste the cherry and the hints of chocolate. This is a winner!!!!

I normally stay away from aro blends, especially those of the cherry persuasion, but Cult Blood Red Moon is the exception to my rule! It's cherry, but not too cherry. It's sweet, but not too sticky and hot. And it breaks the mold of most other aro blends in that it actually tastes like it smells. I've dedicated a couple of pipes to aros, and I'll be stuffing this baccy into them on a regular basis!

Not just my favorite cherry, not just my favorite aromatic, but my favorite everyday smoke. Beautifuly smooth tobacco with wonderful flavor. The smoke is velvety. I now buy multiple tins at a time to be sure I never run out.

This tobacco is FANTASTIC. It smells great and tastes almost the same, which I'm very relieved of because my wife didn't really give me a choice on whether I would keep it in my rotation or not. Lighting this up for the first time actually woke her up one morning and she stumbled to the door wondering what in the heck I was smoking that smelled so delicious.
I have to let it air out a bit before packing, but the 10-15 minute wait makes it that much better. I haven't really found a drink that goes well with it, but this has definitely become my go-to dessert smoke for after dinner.

Wow I'm suprised at how many people wrote a review on this tobacco. Now that I'm smoking a bowl I can see why. This stuff is fantastic. One of the best i've smoked , and I've smoked plenty. The cherry flavor hits You right off the bat. It has other flavors as well so You never get bored. I Love it !!

As a young pipe smoker, I moved quickly away from aromatics and on to English and non-aromatic tobaccos. Recently I started experimenting a little with aromatic tobaccos, and ordered this one because of its popularity. This tobacco has brought me fully back into appreciation of a good aromatic smoke. I find myself craving the smell of the smoke, and it has become the main tobacco in my rotation. The cherry aroma is nothing like a swisher sweet or lesser pipe tobaccos. It has a very tangy and creamy kind of cherry aroma, and a nice sweet mild taste to the tobacco. I smoke this all the way to the bottom of the bowl, and want more!

For health reasons and because I love pipe-smoking and don’t want to totally give it up, I smoke a bowl of pipe tobacco every two weeks. Cult Blood Red Moon was worth waiting for—a mountain top experience in pipe tobacco enjoyment!

Very enjoyable smoke, not too strong for me just the right amount of flavor without going overboard. the most relaxing session of pipe smoking I have had yet! Even the wife tried it and liked it. I did allow it to dry out for an hour before use though.

Very flavorful and a smooth, cool smoke.

I smoke mostly Latakia and Balkan blends, but this has got to be one of my favorite aromatic bends. Cool, dry and smooth without the annoying wetness of other/cheaper cherry blends. Try it and you'll be hooked!

When I took a whiff of this tobacco I had a realization that I want to stuff my nose with it and walk around smelling like cherries for the rest of the day. Fantastic smell every time I open the tin. I am not an aro smoker but this one is in my day to day rotation. I only smoke aromatics when I'm in public places. This one got me a lot of compliments. Room note is delicious. As far as richness and strength goes, you might want to look at different tobaccos. Give it a try you might like it.

A robust but yet subtle cherry flavored tobacco that has an excellent taste and fine room note. Have tried some cherry aromatics and were either too strong or too weak but this one has the best balance so far. Found it damp when opened but after drying some was much better. Highly recommend!

Cult Blood Red Moon burns cool and tastes like cherry cordial.

Did not like it at first, mostly because I'm not really a fan of aromatics and in all honesty I chose to grab 2 tins of this one because of the name and tin art. Felt it was overbearing at first, then I dried some of it out to a more favorable degree and I was pleasantly surprised! I'd really say let it dry out some as it did seem more moist and it totally smoked a lot smoother. Blends nicely, I think my first impression was just based off a bad bowl and not really knowing what to expect flavor-wise. Could not smoke everyday, but a really celebration blend for once in a blue moon...yeah i went there

This is awesome! I tried this after watching the Dagner's on youtube. The room note is great. And although it says it's a cherry flavor, I barely get that. It's got a unique flavor all it's own. If you love aromatics, then you're depriving yourself if you don't give this a shot. I wish it came in an 8oz can though...

Smooth, smells great, tastes great! Very dreamy and smokes with no bite. Reorder is a must.

Good cherry blend. Not big on aromatics but this one is ok. Needs some drying time. Smokes somewhat hot for the fast puffer. What I do enjoy about this tobacco is that it won't give you a headache with an overpowering medicinal cherry smell. Slight sweet taste

My favorite tobacco to date! Its an all day aro. tastes good, not to strong, not chemical tasting. Puff only to taste cherry, retrohale and taste the darker chocolate undertones. Love it!

A smooth cherry with a great aroma, one of my favorites.

I like Black Cavendish and mainly good flavored tobacco. I gave this tobacco a so-so + rating which means I would not buy again unless there was other bad choices.

I am recently new to pipe smoking and really can't speak in the Connoisseur's Tongue about pipe tobacco. But I know that this tobacco was tasty in my Pax vaporizer and even better smoked. I immediately ordered another tin when I ran out and among the 10 or so pipe tobaccos I had tried, this one was best. I loved CAO Black and while having different tastes than Blood Red Moon this one was also superb. I couldn't even tell you what kinds of tobacco Blood Red Moon is blended with but I looked it up and apparently I really prefer the Burley, Cavendish, Virginia blends. Blood Red Moon from Cult is not available everywhere and could cost more when you do find it so I try to keep it on my wish list to remind me.
