I fell in love with this blend the second I removed the lid and the wonderful aroma met my nose. It reminded me of a drink I used to order a lot back in my bar hopping days. Very nice taste, cool smoking, no tounge bite. I can't comment on any room aroma because I was outside in my gazebo enjoying a warm spring night and a pipe.

While everyone raves about so many of the other well known tobaccos out there, Davidoff blends like this one are often looked over. Let me tell you, that is a huge mistake. I’ve had so many of the “big names” and in my opinion, none of them come close to this stuff. Most of the time when I smoke something else, I end up wishing I would have had a bowl of Davidoff Danish Mixture.
After saying that, in full disclosure, I will let you know that I actually go back and forth between this one and Davidoff Royalty and have a hard time deciding which one is my favorite.
I love the subtle sweetness of both. And the flavors just can’t be beat. — I certainly like a little sweetness in my pipe tobacco, and some can be too sweet. I didn’t used to think that was possible, as I have quite a sweet tooth. Then I had back to back bowls of a Lane blend (that everyone has probably heard of) and I took an instant trip to ”tooth crud city.” This Danish Mixture will not make you feel like you want to sprint into the bathroom and brush your teeth. The sweetness is at the perfect level if you ask me.
I have been reluctant to leave this positive review, as I fear it will help it sell out. Then I remember I am just some dummy with an opinion, and that whatever I say probably won’t have much of an impact, ha-ha.
Anyway, if you like mild, fairly sweet, flavorful aromatics, you will absolutely love this stuff. It is smooth as a baby’s bottom. For me, it’s what pipe smoking is all about. I will caution you, if you have smoked a bowl of an English right before this, or any other blend really, you might not get the full effect and taste. I also find that it is best in a Nording Keystone pipe. It’s so good that you want to smoke it fast, and a pipe such as a Falcon, N. Keystone, or a Radiator really helps to bring out the flavor. When I smoke this stuff in other pipes (even fancy ones), it doesn’t seem to be quite as awesome. Again though, that’s just my experience. I sure hope you enjoy it!

Wonderful!
I am a cigar smoker, but do enjoy pipe tabacco in fall and Winter here and there. I have to say, like their cigars, in terms of quality they certainly set the bar high. Very delicious, almost velvet like flavors, a fig or plum note from the moment you open the tin, I enjoy this especially after dinner, with a cup of Sadaf tea (black tea with cardamom), this to me is the definition of relaxing. In terms of price, i honestly think its worth every penny.

One of my favorites. I get some beautiful burley when I smoke this, and it gets better as the bowl progresses. In my opinion it doesn't smoke like to tin note might suggest, it's much better!

Really liked this one, especially after a few bowls and got it figured out. It doesn't smoke like the tin note to me. It smells almost like an aromatic in the tin but smokes like a splendid nutty burly, really nice.

It was not good as expected

Ahhh Yes - this is the good stuff! After dinner it really completes the evening. I would, however, disagree with the strength of only 1 "triangle". To me it seems stronger but in a good way. Very rich but not overly sweet. This is the first time I have tried this blend but it won't be the last. I recommend it with no reservations. Enjoy!!

I thought it was a great, nutty blend. I found that it went well with a cup of coffee or a hot cup of tea. Really nice, will buy again sometime.

Davidoff Danish has just been added to Amphora Regular and Frog Morton's Cellar to round out my top
three pipe tobaccos. There may be more that are as good or better, but I haven't found them.

Nice! Mild and aromatic, but not sticky like some other aromatics.
Typical high quality Davidoff product like their cigars.

I smoke this when I'm trying to figure out some math problems and when I'm building some things at home.

I really love the Davidoff tobaccos. They ooze with quality. Once you smoke them, you realize that the extra $$ was well spent. I'm a total Davidoff devotee. This is probably the best Danish blend I've ever had. Light-years ahead of more inexpensive Danish blends (like Stanwell's). Probably not for guys who like gloppy aromatics like Molto Dolce or Blood Red Moon. This is dry and you can actually taste the (great) tobacco underneath. Fantastic honey/ nut flavors (my favorite) that develop more as the bowl burns. Charing-light seemed somewhat harsh. Maybe the topping burning off, but from there it gets better and better. By mid bowl you're thinking... "I can't believe how great this is".

This tobacco hits the perfect balance of room note and smokability. I have smoked Davidoff cigars in the past and loved them. Their pipe tobacco lives up to the great reputation of Davidoff tobacco!
The room note is outstanding, mild, with a soft sweet scent. I was able to smoke with hardly any relighting, which is always enjoyable!
