Great taste, very smooth.

Has an Irish Whiskey flavor. Was too strong in flavor on it's own, so I added in some milder pipe tobacco. That made it more mellow, but not so strong. The pouch it came in was very nice, kept the tobacco good and moist. I enjoyed it, but it was too strong by itself. At least to me, it was too strongly flavored, but I usually only smoke milder flavored tobaccos. It was a nice and different variety to try

It was ok. I smoked it for the first time on St. Patrick's Day with my new green Savinelli. I really had to search for the flavor, but never found it. Got a pretty good tongue bite too. Had a hard time keeping it lit. Was a little disappointed actually, but i love my new pipe.

Decent aromatic.

Not as good as the Cigars but a good smoke

I really have been enjoying this pouch. Its extremely user friendly and has a very nice aroma. I taste a little bit of whiskey when first lit but mainly its a nice medley of virginia, burley and cavendish. My favorite all day combination of tobaccos

Nice room note, subtle sweetness. Order was timely

Erin Go Bragh Irish cream is a smooth smoking experience. It's as smooth a smoke as Irish cream is to drink! Gotta love the pipe!

Burns very slow and easy .No after taste, simililar to Highland Whiskey, but had complex notes of floral and sweet! Awesome!!!

Quality smoke. Smells amazing!

It’s not bad, but it’s no Butternut Burley.

Good all around cool and mellow smoke. Pleasant aroma and taste.

Really enjoy this brand for my everyday smoke. Well flavored blend.

I enjoy the flavor a lot! I would buy it again, and again, and again. Did I mention that I would buy it again?

A fairly good tobacco. Has no real bite to it, so a bowl if this tobacco is perfect for a relaxing smoke. Great smell and people like the aroma.
4 out of 5
This is actually a pretty decent aromatic - a tobacco I don't normally even look at. There is nothing in it that is overpowering to the palate, and I would bet money that standersby would not be turned off by the aroma either.
Being an aromatic and a pouch of any aromatic is usually enough for me for quite a few months, I personally won't be getting any more, but I would honestly recommend this to those who do appreciate the aromatics. It burns very evenly and for a long cut ribbon it stuffs easily enough.

One of my favorite pipe tobaccos. Flavor is prominent in both my briar and clay pipe. Sweet aroma and flavor.

Great pipe, nice looking and smokes well

New pipe smoker. I found this to be a pleasant blend. Much better than borkum riffs whiskey.
4 out of 5
It definitely has a very prominent
Irish Whickey flavor that is more pronounced than the french vanilla by the same brand.

Though most people love this I wasn't one of them

Not bad. Nice every day smoke. I'm Irish so I love the brand name.

Slow burning a good whisky flavor with a bit of a bite. The smell is pleasing at a good price. I'd recommend a try.

The hints of vanilla and the distinct favor of Irish whiskey are just wonderful. This makes for a pleasing, relaxing smoke enjoyed with friends or alone.

This is my favorite tobacco . I always get a few pouches as a treat .

I have smoked this leaf before, and I like it. I am really glad to finally get some more. It is a nice smoke--light and subtle but with a really nice undertone. The draw isn't as hot as aromatics with more sugar content. I actually like smoking it between bowls of heavier aromatics. It almost cleanses the palate, and the quality is equal to any of my favorites. I bought two pouches to give one as a gift because it is a nice under-the-radar tobacco not many know about here in Texas.

Wasn’t fresh taste not bad but I didn’t like it
2 out of 5
I didn't really care for the tobacco. It was worth trying. I'm more of an English or Balkan tobacco guy.

Good aromatic smoke. Admittedly not my favorite blend. I cant place my finger on it, but from what i've ordered so far, this one is mediocre.
5 out of 5
I really enjoy this blend. I do not care for other whiskey tobacco but this one seems to be light and creamy. Though the aroma is sweet as the Mrs. says. It hits with more of cream and butter nut. It is not consistent, it seems that every order has its own. The first time I tried it it more like a liquor. Still pleasant still satisfied.

Good whiskey topping a pretty enjoyable smoke.

This is one of my favorite tobaccos. That sweet Irish whiskey flavor smells and tastes great. You can't beat it at this price either!
4 out of 5
This blend had a little more texture that I'm used to. It does have a little bite to it when you first have a bowl or two, but it mellows out significantly.
5 out of 5
It has a rich, sweet flavor and is a cool smoke. I’ll be buying this one again.
5 out of 5
Burns well Smells great. Nice cool draw I don’t get any bite. I do and have recommended this tobacco to friends and family members. Reminds me of my grand father’s pipe

Sticky and moist to the touch. Very smooth flavor.
5 out of 5
A very light and bite free smoke.
Tobacco and whiskey make a great match.
4 out of 5
Mild flavor and room note. The blend is a little on the damp side and can be difficult to smoke to the bottom of the bowl.

I bought this for my husband, both he and I love it. He likes the mildest when he smokes, and I love the smell. I will continue purchasing it.
4 out of 5
Smokes mild, but not al that easy to keep lit.

A little dry and burns too quickly but a pleasant smoke

I liked it. Very satisfying.
4 out of 5
This has a great taste, but I have yet learned how to pack it right. Sporadic burn.
4 out of 5
Was thinking this would be more aromatic, but although it is smooth, sweet, and good tasting the toasted burly and flue-cured virginia adds a little smokiness like an English blend. The Whiskey topping is light and almost just fades into a sweetness. Tastes to me like a mild English blend although it isn't at all! Good stuff, right price, get some and try it.

Smooth good tasting, nice aroma pipe tobacco.. I plan to buy more.

For the first time I tried it I did enjoy smoking it and would recommend this to everyone to try.

I gave it 5 stars because of the sweet top note of Irish Whiskey and the smooth taste over all. The room note is very pleasant and will not clean the room out. Will continue to buy this pouch tobacco. Its simple the best in my opinion. Sincerely Patrick Schieving

Very smooth, good alcohol taste. This stuff made me like virginias. Smoke it slow.
5 out of 5
I have to say that this pouch has and always will be my go-to tobacco. I can never go wrong with this one. Great pouch aroma, great room note, an all-around all-day smoke. The whiskey flavor comes out predominant at the beginning of the bowl. The second half the flavor morphs into an amazing true Virginia flavor. Retro-hale is outstanding! Buy this one for St. Patty's Day and you will never regret it.
5 out of 5
I enjoy many very different tobaccos, but I always have the Irish pouch handy.
3 out of 5
Tastes a little like it smells. I like it more than most virginia blends. Near perfect moisture too.
5 out of 5
Nice mellow smoke, perfect for early morning in my rocking chair on the porch. Watch the sun come up, then the birds feed. As soon as I light my pipe, the birds appear, knowing there's fresh seed in the feeders. My dog Henry and I love to watch them. It's a great way to start the day.

Best whiskey tobacco I have ever tried. Has a great whiskey flavor
5 out of 5
I've taken some liberties with an old Irish proverb to make a point about EGB tobacco: it is extremely pleasant and an extremely good value. I can't think of another 'value priced' tobacco that offers so much flavor, body and quality. The whiskey top note is more evident at the start of the bowl, but it does linger a bit throughout. Another point: I am almost exclusively an English blend smoker but EGB is just about the only aromatic that I have on hand on a regular basis.

Smoking it right now! Very good and pleasant to smoke.

Mild, no bite, good flavor

First, the smell from the tobacco in the satchel is phenomenal. Brings you right to old Ireland. Then, it is a wonderfully perfumed smoke, no bitter after taste, and last quite a long time. Easy to pack in the pipe, this tobacco is very well cut indeed. Non-pipe people have complimented the aroma I leave behind when I draw a puff near them. So it must be something. All and all, I highly recommend this lovely tobacco.

I do try others but by far this it my go too.

Seems to have a bit of tongue bite to me. Flavour is actually good, but like I said a bit of bite. Also may be a bit high in nicotine, though of course I don't have any chemical basis for determining that, it seemed to make me a bit lightheaded.
4 out of 5
A good, cool, flavorful tobacco. A pleasant end of the day smoke.
3 out of 5
Smooth taste...no distinct aroma...meh.
5 out of 5
Very nice smoke. Easy burn and stays lit. Also delivers a very nice room note.

Hmm, this one is not for me I guess. This is my first venture in to aromatics. The pouch note is good, but I am detecting very little of the 'whiskey' flavor and what is there is pretty two dimensional. The actual tobacco flavor is almost non existent.
I enjoy robust and full flavor tobaccos so maybe this is just too mild.
As a disclaimer, I am smoking this out of a Wessex pipe that I have smoked a good deal of Latakia from. So, I will seal up the pouch and try it again out of a fresh cob or something down the road. But for the time being I will not be buying any more of this and I can't recommend it. I would say either try a different aromatic or spend the money on good English or Va/Per blends with deep flavor and character.

Extremely smooth! Great room notes. Not overpowering at all. This is my new standby. Love this whiskey-spiked blend!

very nice easy blend with bag note of grain whiskey. Smokes like mild aromatic with slight fruit, whiskey note. Very pleasant surprise at this price.

Fantastic mild flavor, smokes smooth and burns well. I would highly recommend this blend to anyone.

Super. I usually like my whiskey in a glass and not in pipe tobacco, however I find this to me a great blend. I like to try different blends all the time, but this one will be one of the few buy again blends.

This is a very smooth, yet charismatic tobacco. My go to favorite has always been black Cavendish. I've recently adventured out into burley's, Latakia's, and Virginian's. Erin Go Bragh Erin Go Bragh has been a pleasant surprise. Mellow, provocative, and very enjoyable. I will definitely be adding this to my list of "go to" tobacco.

Very nice tasre and riim note. My wife loves it when I puff on a bowlful of it. She say it makes tge house smell so good. Not harsh either

A little less flavor than CAO Eileen's Dreaam.

Very nice smoke no bite Has a good room fragrance.only wish it came in bulk. Can only get it in 1 1/2 oz pkg.

A very nice smooth tobacco. Slightly sweeter that the Irish Dew, the Cav I suspect. But compared to American tastes are when talking aromatic, not even. The Irish Dew was a little less sweet, therefore dryer snd cooler smoking; again, hardly aromatic by yankee standards. I think I prefer it iver the two. The Peterson pipe I got with the special along with the pouch of each was a grest deal, and a fine smoking pipe.

Cool burn and great flavor

This is a fine tobacco, with a pleasant aroma. The initial taste took a moment to get used to, but like ripping back a glass of Whiskey for the first time in a long time, it immediately became smoother each draw. I would suggest to anyone to give it a try.

This is a soft-bodied tobacco; like any aromatic, it will burn a touch hot if you puff away like a blacksmith with a vengeance. However, if you use a nice briar pipe with a modicum of pacing this a rewarding pouch. The whiskey serves to provide a nice after glow and satisfactory room note - though, this probably won't draw amazing reviews from those around you, at least nothing like a pure Cavendish is liable to elicit (e.g. "That's the best thing I've ever smelled!" - not a likely review from the wife). One important note: the Virginias definitely shine through by the half-way point of the smoke; this is the sign of a good leaf. The burleys do complement the whiskey well and provide a balanced, enjoyable smoke. If you are searching for a mouthful of flavor, look elsewhere; if you want a super cool smoke, stop looking at aromatics and maybe consider a nice proper English. However, if you want relaxation with a friendly and soothing whiskey undertone, try this with a glass of Johnny Walker Blue on the rocks. I call this a book tobacco; perfect for a late night with a good book or an afternoon with the fishing pole. In the Euro pack, this is the middle sister, with John Bull leading the pack (as a fine albeit mild representative of the English tobaccos) and Cest La Vie falling short of its Vanillacentric rivals over at Sutliff and Mac Baren.

Pretty good! Mild with a definite whiskey flavor. A great smoke to have when working around the house.

Delicious. Smooth, Mellow smoke with nice subtle sweetness. I detect whiskey and a bit of vanilla cream flavor. Smells great in the pouch and a nice room note. 5 stars, I will be buying this one again.

NOT A BAD SMOKE -NOTHING SPECIAL
5 out of 5
What I really love about this blend is that it keeps it's flavor from first light till end of bowl. Leaves nothing but fine ash. I've found that all the other aromatic smokes I have tried smell great in the tin, taste great the first few puffs but then lose flavor and just taste flavorless. I'm still new to pipe smoking but this is my observation so far. Trying to get into English but it's a bit tricky atleast on my pallet. If you're new to pipes, or just haven't tried it, jump on a pouch of this, and grab a tin of Peterson University Flake while you're at it. It's my favorite, I've been searching for one I like more, thier 3P's is awesome, but university is where it's at. IMHO That is.

a delight. gentle easy smoke with very pleasant aromatic
5 out of 5
Great smoke. I'm not really one for aromatics, I believe this the only one I'm keeping on hand. As others have said, it can burn a bit hot. I only smoke this one in cobs, as I've found it smokes cooler than in my briars. Looking forward to trying in a meerschaum once I pick one up. Definitely worth a try.

I fell in love with this stuff a couple years ago. I had recieved it in my double down monthly shipment and set it aside, i dont usually care for the tobaccos that are in a pouch. Several months later i finally decided to give it a try, just so i could throw it away with a clear conscience. And wow i was floored, it was not only good it was heaven. I smoked up both pouches in no time and when i decided it was going to be my go to tobacco, i was devastated p&c was no longer selling it. Im glad its back. And I intend to stock up, i highly recommend you fill your bowl with this just once, you're going to love it.

Very moist but burns well. A mild pleasant tasting and smelling smoke.
5 out of 5
Upon my order of Erin Go Bragh I was very optimistic in hopes of finding a new pleasing blend. However upon my first bowl I discovered that this is not the smoke for me. But in order to give it my best attempt I continued to light up. I found it to be much hotter and harsh than the types I am accustom to. It actually blistered the roof of my mouth! I haven't experienced that since the early days of pipe smoking 30+ years ago.
5 out of 5
I ran out of my tobacco sometime ago and I checked to see if they were going to restock. When I received the email it was back, it took me no time to put in my order. This really has great flavors. My Grandfather and Uncle would have truly enjoyed a pipe full.
5 out of 5
Mild and lightly flavored, rich tobacco smell in the package. Great room note (wife and daughter like it WAY more than my English blends)and burns well for an aromatic. Give it a try if you don't like overly an overly cased smoke.
3 out of 5
Just OK, nothing to write home about!
4 out of 5
The aroma is great, the taste is nice but not as nice as it smells. Can smoke a little hot to me sometimes, but I seem to be more sensitive to heat than others. I like it though. I smoke it when English blends might not be appreciated by others.
4 out of 5
Boy, was I delighted to see Erin Go Bragh back in stock!
I have been trying to get some of this tobacco for a long time. My experience with it started with the delightful smell of Irish Whiskey followed by the high grades of tobacco in support. I plan to keep this in my rotation and hope that it would be offered in a larger tin some day. As usual P & C got this stuff to me very fast and it is always appreciated.
