I'm a long-time pipe smoker but not the best at descriptions in language TRUE tobacco experts use:( Suffice to say, this is a rich, dark, and hardy flavor that I love. A new find I very much enjoy.

This is a tasty treat for English lovers. Latakia is the star, but the supporting cast is distinctive. I'll buy this again.
In the contest with Smyrna, I give Cerberus the edge. If I could give it a 4.5, I would.

I really like a few of H & H tobaccos. The best so far has been the CerBerus. A little woodsie kinda smokie after thought with a slight hint of a cinnamon to dance on the tongue. But from purchase to purchase the cuts don't seem to be consistent. Not far off but enough to make a guy stand in the middle of room and go " hmmmmmmm"!

typically a kitchen sink type blend has too many flavors crowding the lead, however, Russ has a masterpiece with this harmony of baccy. I have no idea how he got all these different tobacco to work so well together! Needless to say that i will be buying more of this delicious blend.

Love the flavor and smokiness of this blend.
May be my new favorite.

It's not strong, scary or a nic bomb but it does taste good. I really do like the addition even though small of Kentucky. Makes me want to try more Kentucky with perhaps perique and burly and sweet virginia. All American blend. Any ways, moisture level hit the sweet spot and I've enjoyed smoking this as a alternative to my Balkans and English blends.

A unique blend that smokes rich and full yet does not bite you

I am a beginer and it has a mild and easy smoke.

Late in the afternoon, when I'm feeling a little tired and jaded, this is my go-to tobacco in a medium-bowl pipe. It's calming and just rich enough to pull me through the rest of the day. It's all subjective, of course, but I appreciate the taste and room smell to get me to the point where I can go home for a nice dinner.

This is my #1. H&H tobaccos are the best suited to my taste, and this is my favorite of the series. I love the flavor of Latakia and this has plenty of it, yet the supporting cast adds the ideal amount of complexity to keep it interesting and completely satisfying. As always, the quality is top drawer. A perfect blend.

This blend is largely a combination of condiment tobaccos but they meld together very well to provide a fairly unique pipe experience. The tin notes are smokey campfire and leather but the latikia is not as strong as you might expect upon lighting. The Turkish/Oriental shines through without being overbearing while the dark fired Kentucky brings smokey/nutty undertones and fuller flavor. The Perique adds some peppery spice which rounds out the blend nicely.
Mild/Med Nic hit. Smokes cool and won't bite, no drying time needed from tin, ribbon cut and packs nicely, needs few relights, and flavor stays consistent throughout the bowl. Not an all day smoke but one you can appreciate more than once a day. 4.5 stars.

I’ve smoked through about half the tin at this point, and I must say I’m impressed. For me, the most notable features at the start of a bowl of Cerberus are, of course, the Latakia and dark-fired Kentucky, with a firm undercurrent of oriental. It’s not until about midway through the bowl that the Perique begins to move out of subtlety and really shine. By the end of the smoke, everything coalesces into pure Balkan brilliance! This blend is, in my humble opinion, not for the beginner, due to its intricacy and depth; that said, it is a great test case for those who wish to refine their palates. Overall, I consider this a go-to for a cold, winter’s night of contemplation.

The combination of Latakia, Perique and Dark-fired Kentucky in this blend is downright synergistic, producing a unique flavor which is full-bodied and spicy, with just a kiss of Virginia sweetness. I could not smoke this all day, but what an extraordinary treat. It is not for the faint of heart nor for the delicate palate. It is bold and exotic - nearly intoxicating. A remarkable achievement.

nostalgic to me because my Nanu smoked a pipe and this one was of my favorite smells growing up that and a Cherry tobacco. In My thirty's I decided to try cigars and then pipe smoking and stumbled on this by accident and the aroma brought back all those warm cozy memories and I buy it when ever I can to think of my wonderful grandparents. After I realized I bought something my Nanu had around all the time I smoke it in honor of him. Sure miss Nanu and Nana.

Working my way through PC selection of "English" blends. I find that I am reordering Cerberus and Larry's blend the most. Living is an area with no Cigar or Tobacco shops I must rely on the Internet. IMHO P&C has an extensive selection of tobacco, bulk, tins and pouch online. Now if they restocked Falcon pipes and bowls I wouldn't have to jump to different sites.

Can't get enough of it!

I finished smoking all series tobaccos including white knight and black house. Excellent blends my choice are all I found them to satisfy my taste for English blends. However; the manufacturer should provide these blends and series in bulk as well as tins.

Definitely one of my favorite blends. The first tins I got were filled with the most spice type flavor of perique I have ever tasted. This is the tobacco that started my obsession with perique. Medium to full, as many English blends are, but not harsh. Will report back when a buddy and me pop my tin that's been aging since 2012.

I didn’t really care too much for Cerberus. I do enjoy Latakia blends. Hearth & Home’s Ten to Midnight is my favorite nightly smoke.
I suspect it’s probably the flavor of whatever Orientals they use in Cerberus that I don’t care for. There seems to be a lot of different Oriental and Turkish tobaccos out there. The tins don’t always state which particular Orientals are included in each particular blend and there seems to be good reason for that. From what I’ve read in various articles, the pipe tobacco world of Oriental tobacco is confusing and inconsistent at best. We as consumers can only imagine the struggle Master Blenders must go through in trying to keep the flavor of their most popular Oriental blends consistent and affordable.
For me Cerberus tastes similar to Cornell & Diehl’s Star of the East. It’s possible they may have similar types of Orientals. If you’ve tried and enjoyed Cornell & Diehl’s Star of the East then you should give Cerberus a try.

This was excellent, and I will certainly be buying it again. If you have any interest in latakia's, you've gotta give this a try.

I love this stuff! I'm a Frog Morton Cellar guy and this tops that. It is a bit strong so it's my outside relaxing at the end of the day blend. Wife likes the smell also!

Kind of a let down for me. It sounds like it's supposed to be exploding with flavor but it's kinda mild to me. The flavor I did get was good, just not enough. If I could give it 3.5 I would. But definitely didn't deserve a 4.

Great taste and burns beautifully in the pipe!

I am not a huge fan of English blends, but I do enjoy them every couple of days. I cannot remark on the various tobaccos in this blend, but I found the taste to be very pleasant. It s a cool and flavorful smoke. The best English I have had.

I have always enjoyed Hearth and Home tobacco and was surprised to see a pipe package deal with 3 Hearth & Home tobacco including a lighter and a package of pipe cleaners. The pipe is beautiful. A little tight around the stem, but i used my dremel tool to bore the hole just a bit in the pipe and placed a little food grease on the stem. Now the pipe is not super tight and I can actually rotate it to my needs in different positions. To me the pipe is an A+. It would have a AAA+ if the stem was a little softer and not so hard. The lighter worked the first time I put butane in it and is also a Plus. I will keep ordering through Pipes & Cigars. Glad you guys are around. Looking forward to trying different brands and flavors.

An excellent, mild smoke appropriate for any time of day. I especially enjoy it with a nice cup of Earl Grey tea.

A very nice smoke. One of my favorites.

Yes, it's good. Very good. The initial taste is mostly latakia, but that soon fades a bit, and becomes less dominant as the other components emerge. The result is smokey, musty, tart, with a perfect amount of sweetness. As someone who smokes cigarettes and uses snus, I'm not the best judge of nicotine content, but I find this to be very easy and enjoyable to smoke even though it's bold and spicy. Great value, too!

Just opened the tin today. Initial aroma is very smoky as I expect. This tin seemed to be dryer than most English tins. Easy to light and burn. Packed lightly in two different pipes, it is a good smoke but even though I have been a pipe smoker since about 1967, I have never liked a lot of Perique. If you like Spicy, which is what I get so far, this one is for you. In the Marquee Series, I am a fan of WhiteKnight.

ThIs is my favorite pipe tobacco, I try to smoke the other ones that I have but this is 100 times better in comparison. It smells fantastic and have a very strong taste.

A wonderful smokey blend, full of flavor that reminds me of sitting around the campfire. The Dark Fired Kentucky is the real star here, with the Perique making a great cameo appearance throughout the bowl. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly suggest you do.
