Some years back, we ran a program called Fusion Lab to allow people to make their own blend and have it voted upon by the P&C Faithful to pick their favorite, and here it is - Hearth & Home Signature Caramel Apple Pie. There's a mellow fresh apple note along with a splash of warm caramel flavor. The remarkable inclusion of toasty red Virginia brings in a flavor that will remind you of pie crust. For those who enjoy an understated aromatic with and intriguing taste and aroma, Caramel Apple Pie will win you over.
I am currently smoking my first bowl. When opening the tin the aroma was distinctly caramel apple...just as I expected and wanted it to be. My first smoke of any new blend is usually in a good old corncob, so I packed it and off to the back yard I went!! I told my wife what I was going to smoke and she immediately asked me to keep the window open so she could enjoy it too. As with any aromatic, the tin note is much stronger than the actual smoke. However, I was pleasantly surprised, as the slight hint of apples did come through. It is a good and gentle smoke, although a little hot for my corncob. All thought the bowl, the taste of apples stayed. All in all, a very pleasant smoke first time out.
Got home tonight, had supper and lit up the corn cob.Man oh man was I SUPRISED. Don't know how they did it,what they mixed but they got this one right.Pleasent aroma, great taste. Just right to the point. If you don't try this one out you don't know what your missing. Thanks H&H.
This is a heavenly smoke, thanks Russ for your great blends.
This is really great stuff! sweet, savory, fully rounded complexity. I've smoked more than a few Aromatics in my day and I can honestly say that this is probably one of the most complex Aro's I've ever smoked as far as taste is concerned, and that's in a good way. It goes a step above being just another Aro in my book because it retains the slightest bit of that sweet, honest to goodness tobacco taste most of us love. It has an awesome tin note that smells like a sweet caramel apple with cinnamon. The smell transfers over to the taste of the smoke wonderfully without being sickeningly sweet. Be careful because I noticed if you don't sip this one, it can turn a little spicy on you if you smoke like a freight train and I think too many people are taking that as tongue bite, in my opinion, it's just a flavor profile that you have to be gentle with
Not bad room note but did not enjoy the taste.
Well, not what I expected at all, I do not smell or taste Caramel or Apple, has a bit of bite for me, it is a good smoke after I let it sit out for about 10 min. Shipping on all products has been very fast from P&C....Thank you.
As I am a huge apple fan I love this pipe tobacco!! Brings back many child hood memories of the neighbors apple trees!!! My favorite way to enjoy this tobacco is with a hard cider after work. I also enjoy the way it burns in my pipe & my wife enjoys the aroma. I enjoy the tobacco so much I have a dedicated pipe and pipe pouch just for this tobacco !!! I am a novice pipe smoker so that may or may not be appropriate but it is what I have decided to do.
This is one of the best aromatics I've tried it is now in my rotation .
Ohhhh this one was sweat. Wasn't very strong but very good in aroma. I found this tobacco to be an excellent after lunch/dinner tobacco, especially when mixed with Peterson's whiskey flavored tobacco.
