This wind cap is great. Looks cool on my pipes as well. A most have if you pipe outside

These are indispensable to me as a pipe smoker. Put one on the bowl of a pipe and I can smoke my pipe in windy conditions without embers blowing allover. If I have to interrupt a smoking session, I put the cap on, slip a pipe cleaner from the button to the foot of the bowl. The pipe goes out almost immediately, I can slip the pipe into my pocket without ashes falling out. I cannot recommend this pipe accessory to highly. Every pipe smoker needs a few. I lose them frequently but I like to have at least three around.

Love these, just right when you are outside and there is any wind. Also great when you want to insure that no aches go on anything.

Great for windy days

Not bad. On a blend that stays lit well, it helps on a windy day outside

You can see, it's not sexy. It's functional, allowing me to smoke in a drizzle, drop it lit in my floorboard, put it straight away into my pocket, lit, with little fear of singeing. So, it's sexy. Functional.

Stops me from burning my clothes especially while I am golfing. My wife really appreciates that!

Brilliant idea.

Works as intended and appears to be sturdy enough so that it will last for quite a while. I load and cap 5 pipes every morning to enjoy throughout the day. This cap also helps to keep the smoke out of my eyes from the air conditioning blowing in my face as I often smoke as I drive my rig.

Works as advertised.

One of my All-time Fav pipe accessories!! Had given up trying to find it til now.
Great to keep sparks/ash from popping out of the bowl....
Many times burning a hole in my shirt!
Great Addition to my comfort and ease of smoking my pipe!!

These are nice low profile windscreens, that I'm actually beginning to prefer over the other style with the springs up top of the windscreen. They can be adjusted to the fit most pipes by bending the little tabs on the bottom side. They sit very low on the bowl, and they look cool. I have one on my 1908 Calabash gourd pipe that has a sterling silver cap on the mouth of the gourd, with a meerschaum bowl insert underneath the silver top. It looks very cool against the silver, and doesn't detract from the beauty of the pipe. Of course I use them on my regular briar and meerschaum pipes as well, with equal success.

They do the job. But for me i need to was them off often...
The only real problem though is the retractable prongs that hold the thing in the pipe bowel tend to accumulate crud causing them to pop off the pipe and invariably get get lost if i'm outside...... All that said.... they do prevent hot ashes from ruining shirts and jackets......

Love them wish I would have found them sooner. I could have saved my Erin Go Bragh Bulldog from a burnout.

Works great! 👍 Not a " cure-all" for windy day piping , but in my opinion performs as was designed.

Fits most pipes but not the big bowls.
Good value for the money.

I'm using metal pipe cover for last 30 years. It helps to protect my clothes from accidental burn out spots, especially when it's windy, and because it's adjustable
I can use it for pipe cups with different inner diameter.
Can't imaging smoking outside without it. I would recommend this product.

No more ashes blowing in the wind and on my seats.

Spring fit works well with only pipes of specific Bowl sizes. Great on windy days to help slow down wind-wasted burn.

Holds tight in every pipe I've used in so far. I like it so much that I just purchased my 3rd one and bought another for a friend. If you smoke outdoors you need one of these

I use these while riding my motorcycle or doing yard work. I am very pleased.

I have used these in the past and they are great!

It works well, my only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the spring loaded buttons that you need to press are quite sharp. Other than that, it does its job

I ordered two, one for work and one for home. They are inexpensive and work as advertised. I'm not sure why I didnt order them sooner. They fit all the pipes I have tried them on, and you could bend the inside prongs to make them wider if need be.

Works great outdoors, can lunt confidently without worrying about flying ash or bowl burn outs.

Works well for all but the narrowest and widest pipes.

Well, it works, but it's a bit of a pain.
I bought a few covers to use on a few different pipes.
Some it works well, some, either too loose of too large.
A bit of a hassle to remove, relight or tamp, but, that being said it keep the water spray out of the pipe when the splashes into the boat.

Scratches the inside of the bowl, cheap and made in China. Do not use in an
expensive pipe.

This little thing is GREAT. I use it when I'm outside on a windy day and particularly when on the riding lawn mower.

These are very good to have and to use. I have used them previously and they really help in wet weather, keeping your tobacco from falling out of the bowl if you pack your pipe well ahead of time. This would be for highway driving when you travel on vacation. I fill 4 or 5 pipes, line them up in the drawer in my truck travel drawer, and all I need to do is light up and puff. You can remove the cover or light through it when you light up. Also I spent a number of years aboard ship in the Navy. This was great to be able to smoke during darken ship, while cigar and cigarette smokers were not able to do so. Just one more help to enjoy a good bowl of pipe tobacco.
