Some of the most popular pipes we sell are those that combine traditional aspects with the unexpected and modern. That's why we believe that the Peterson Irish Harp Sandblast pipes are going to be moving up the list of top-sellers. Classic Peterson shapes are treated to a nicely detailed sandblasting and stained with a deep red color which works perfectly with the Cumberland-look acrylic stems. Even better, the Peterson Irish Harp Sandblasts are among their most reasonably-priced models.
Well made, feels good in my hand. No filter, has an easy draw. Large bowl. Sterling silver band sets off the look.

A nice pipe

This pipe has a classy yet rugged look which I like. It's also very light weight which may be expected of this briar. My only complaint is not being able to run a pipe cleaner to the bowl. The air passage where the tenon meets the shank doesn't line up. However, if it smokes hot and starts gurgling a pipe cleaner from the bit to the tenon seems to quiet the pipe. This may be where condensation is collecting so getting to the bowl with a pipe cleaner seems to not be necessary.

Great pipe at a great price

I have two of these Irish Harps, and both of mine sport a STERLING SILVER BAND, not a nickel one. Typical of Peterson pipes, these two pipes were monsters to break in, but after a total of 10 to 15 bowls each, they are starting to smoke like the Petersons of old. I love the rough finish, sterling silver trim, and the Cumberland style acrylic mouthpiece. I am tempted to get another one!

Nice pipe

Good finish, good nickel band, nice stem finish/drilling. That bowl coating though...I don't know what they use, but it's waxy, sticky, and tastes and smells bad under heat. I had to sand it all out before I could enjoy an untainted bowl.
