The Oscar Lucite series are smooth pipes finished in a warm, golden brown stain. The stems are made of a pearlized Lucite in a light gold tone for a more contemporary appearance.
just got it and used only once but had a really enjoyable smoke.

Because I did not seek "more information” about the
Savinelli pipe I recently purchased it was disappointing
to find that the balsa system could not be used.

I own 4 of these Oscar Lucite pipes (the 404 and the 310ks); and they are all wonderful looking and are great smokers. The pearly Lucite stems are very attractive against the golden wood burl. Just great pipes - and I like the fact that they have no filter, which I never use on any of my many Savinelli pipes.
