For the price, you can't beat anything from Smoker'S Pride. I bought the entire catalog and use them for various blends. The Smoker's pride brand leaves the room smelling pleasantly smokey. The tastes are pleasant by themselves or blended together.

After smoking a pipe for 56 years I found this to be one of the most satisfying tobaccos. I've smoked many different blends. I get many compliments on the aroma, not as much as a vanilla blend but I enjoy smoking this more and not as most as some. That's a good thing. Many are too sticky. It's a great tobacco not even considering the cost.

Great price point. I mix cherry vanilla and rum together. Get lots of compliments on the aroma. (When's the last time anyone complimented you on the smell of a cigarette!) Just wish the zip closer on the bags actually worked. 🧐

Surprise the flavor was as pronounced. Bag note is great so is room note. Smokes and smells awesome. Definitely a monthly order.

This pipe tobacco has a nice even burn, with very little tongue bite. The aromatic scent could be hopped up a little more. Basically an above average product.

Good smoking value priced tobacco

Each of the Smoker's Pride flavors (with the exception of Natural, for which I have no use whatsoever) have been my pipe smoking staples for many years. They are mild and pleasant tasting with an extremely agreeable room note--the type of thing the wife doesn't bitch about--not to mention, easily affordable. I use a different flavor (along with a couple of the Super Value offerings) for each day of the week, with specific pipes dedicated to each flavor but, as you've probably also discovered, they each run out at different times. So, since you offer an economy shipping rate which doesn't require me to pony up for a hundred dollar order at any one time to maintain a small stock of the stuff, you are my preeminent choice for no-hassle internet purchasing. That rich buttery texture gets old real quick. Best to buy this in a smaller pouch so as to not burn yourself out. Otherwise no complaints

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this inexpensive tobacco. The cut is fairly large but packs into pipe well. The flavor is excellent if a slight bit harsh afternote. The tobacco produces a lot of smoke. I would recommend this to anyone.

I absolutely love this for a breakfast smoke with some coffee and cream. The smell is extremely pleasant especially opening the bag. I think its mainly a Burley and Virginia mixture definitely sweet for sure! Great flavor great price!!!

An all day, no bite smoke that is thoroughly enjoyable with a subtle rum, not overly sweet, flavor. A great price is the icing on the cake. P & C also gets 5-Stars for being an exceptional company to do business with.

When switching between various brands this is a nice choice for a very different flavor that is not too strong, but has a nice mild rum flavor.

Smells great. smokes smooth. It is rum but it has a caramel note to it.

It seems to be a cliche to say "my wife likes the room note" of a tobacco. Well... my girlfriend actually smokes this stuff with me, and loves it. This was the second pipe tobacco I bought, before discovering the glory of P&C. Even as a newbie piper, I found it easy to pack, light, and keep lit. Did not leave much dottle. Dried it just a little before packing. Just scooped my pipe into the bag, packed, scooped again, packed, lit... easy. No bite and smokes cool even though I puffed like a train engine on my MM Legend and Missouri Pride cobs. Cut is decent, more flaky than ribbony. A little sticky and moist but less than many aromatics. Stays fresh in the sealed bag, but less PG than many aros. Has a flavor more reminiscent of butterscotch than rum, but it's a very pleasant and not overpowering topping. A little nutty burley in the background, not much complexity. Still a great smoke, and brings back great memories of puffing on a corn cob bowl of SP Rum on the porch with the love of my life and enjoying a light, cool spring breeze shortly before my favorite part of the year - Renaissance faire season - began. Lovely. 4 stars because I reserve 5 for the absolute best, but this is a great, inexpensive aromatic. Will buy again.

I’ve tried Vanilla, Cherry, Rum and Bold, and I’ve liked all but the Bold. For those looking for an inexpensive smoke, I can definitely recommend Smokers’ Pride. 4 out of 5 stars based upon value for price.

Great aroma and very nice flavor, a mild burn with rich aroma, while moist to the touch, its just enough to deliver consistantly. U would recommend and will be changing from vanilla. Two thumbs up.

On of my favorite blends

This stuff is inexpensive and will burn if you put it in a pipe and light it. That's the good part. But this is not a tobacco you buy for the taste - you buy it because it does what cheap pipe tobacco is supposed to do. This is the third SP tobacco I've tried. The Whiskey is great and the Black Cavendish is in a league if its own, but this Rum Cured doesn't measure up. Decent taste, but a terrible smallish coarse cut that wants to bite in spite of the PG. Buy the Whiskey. Hoard the Black Cav. Pass on the Rum Cured. Stokkebye does good things for only a little more cheddar.

This tobacco has a nice rum flavor but is smooth to smoke. I smoke while I paint, and this one gives my studio a nice aroma.

The Rum flavor is good but a bit of a bite and a little harsh for my taste. Of the flavors I have tried to date, the Cherry is very mild but lacks flavor; it is good to use to blend with harsher tobaccos. Rich is good too, to blend to add a little more body. The Vanilla is still my favorite as a stand alone. They all are shipped a little moist but I find it is easier to de-hydrate than re-hydrate pipe tobacco. Once a little moisture is removed, they all burn cool and long if not packed too tightly in the bowl.

lane is my preferred smoke but when money is tight, you cant beat this. no preservatives and no bite. good to the end of the bowl. sometimes it makes me wonder why i smoke lane.

Good everyday tobacco; good price when on sale. My tobacconist sells it for $19. Your shipping charge brings the price to about even unless it's on sale, and I buy at least two bags. I like the rum and cherry flavors.

This is a really good value tobacco,it smokes well with no bite and has a pleasant aroma and a good mouth taste of rum.I smoke this when i'm working in my yard and on an evening on my porch with a good cup of coffee,just pondering the night away with my dogs.For the price it can't be beat.

My favorite ! I wish smokers pride had peaches and cream, but until they do, this is one and only smoke ! I keep trying samplers of others but so far I haven't found any that come close! Good job !!

Lights easily and stay lit. Mild, no bite. It seems to burn better than some of the other Smoker's Pride blends I've tried. I don't notice any fragrance.

My favorite Smokers Pride flavor so far! It was a little dry straight out of the bag, but after getting it a bit more moist, it was perfect! Very solid room note, not bitter smoking.

I started with the Euro Sampler tobaccos and really enjoyed the Irish whiskey and Royal English flavours and decided to try more aromatics when I saw Smoker's Pride Cured Rum. I enjoyed the Royal English for the perfect balance of power as an "anytime" smoke, and Irish Whiskey for the flavour and smoothness. Smoker's Pride Rum Cured is similar to the Irish whiskey; Not too strong, but not a 24/7 smoke. After rough days I still light up se Royal English.

Good working man's pipe tobacco, good smoke!

Mellow to my taste and an excellent mixer with Smoker's Pride Natural.
