Always had much less cherry flavor than smokers pride. So the brawl never started. Having said that, its a good smoke nonetheless, with more of a subtle cherry flavor that builds. Like a homemade cobbler. Out of dozen or so tobaccos that I really smoke often, this is one the Mrs always recognizes, in whatever order, and says is one of her favorites. Clearly adjust the moisture as needed.

I find the Super Value Cherry Cavendish to be decent. It burns well. It has a mild aroma that's all right. The smoke doesn't have an aroma. The flavor is fine. It's not cut finely as other pipe tobaccos but that does not matter much. Its moist but still lights well. I'm pleased with the purchase and reccomend it.

I used to smoke Troost Slices. After the embargo I found Lanes Golden sliced cavendish a suitable replacement. It came in a white box with a golden foil wrapping. The non aromatic aromas of these were pleasing to others. Apparently Lanes golden slices is no longer available. Any other tobacco is at most a three star.
I don't like tobaccos that leave an after taste in my mouth. Who needs an aromatic tobacco? The pleasure is in the smoking.
If you smoked it you probably can't smell it, but the smell remains in your clothes and in your surroundings.
Smoking may be a disgusting habit, but that's no reason to stop.

A solid smoke. Not a mouthful of laffytaffy fake cherry. Just a hint of cherry. Actually, just the right hint.
I'm impressed with it to be honest. Had a really impressive, fresh cut hardwood smell in the bag. Clean with a hint of cherry.
You can taste it, but it isn't so powerful that it tastes you.
It can be a stand alone, but it's an excellent blender.
Half C.Black white and half this Cherry, is a really enjoyable smoke.
It takes some of the vanilla splash out of the Captain, but pulls out his
sweeter fruity amaretto notes.
The S.V Vanilla blends well with this too and will make you popular on the beach, fool your
friends, and fun at party's.

It just doesn't seem to have the richness of the cavendish I am looking for, nor did it have quite enough cherry (for me). I have been spoiled by Steamed, rich Black cavendish in particulary...Backwoods Cherry. However I am going to smoke it, and probably use it as a base for makin my own blend. I think I would like a rich black cavendish with a whiskey or bourbon flavor, or maybe a rum.

a little damp at first so it burns hot leave I leave it open a few days to dry a bit more. Taste is not bad lightly sweet ok cherry flavor, room note is mellow. Wife likes it ok says its not Borkum Riff one of our favorites but too much for every day smoke. Considering I smoke 8 to 10 ounces a week. So the cheaper stuff is everyday.

It kept me too busy keeping it lit to appreciate any flavor. Too oily/wet; would leave a visible stain and a feeling of oiliness on my hand (esp my thumb) when handling/packing it into my pipe. The smoke left a musty, or dusty in my mouth. The flavor wasn't unattractive, but there were/are just too many other distractions preventing me from otherwise enjoying it.

A good daily smoke with with a slightly sweet cherry flavor and little tongue bite. While this a pretty good everyday smoke I prefer Smoker's Pride Cherry Cavendish.

I personally wasn't a fan of this. The Cherry was very mild, and the other notes was that of cheap. I know this was a value blend, and it tasted like it. Wouldn't recommend.

I wish it tasted as good as it smells. Although it had more flavor than the last time I ordered it, it's not nearly as flavorful as it used to be. You kept on until you got your feedback. Had it be exceptional or had it been a sack of ragweed I would have informed you on the spot. Like it is, it's a fair smoke.

Have been blending the Cherry Cavendish with Largo Natural and rolling my own. Terrific mouth flavor. Friends and family are happy that I switched from store bought cigarettes and are quite complimentary of the aroma of this blend. Be careful to air dry the Cavendish well before blending otherwise you will likely jam your injection machine.

Brought a pouch of this at a local smoke shop a while back. Didn't have anything else, and now I know why they call it 'Super Value" for. This is a last choice smoke for me when all my other tobaccos are gone or low. It will do in a pinch but not the best choice if you really to enjoy a nice smoke.

Got this one locally to try it out. I totally agree with SP. I'm pretty new to pipe smoking, and this has been maybe the 4th thing I've tried, and I'm pretty sure all I've had has been aromatics because, well, its everywhere. This tobacco does smell really nice out of bag, but as for smoking it.. I have had really No enjoyment out of this one. I find it somewhat bitter, with hardly any sweetness in the smoke. I can taste the sweetness on my lips but not in my mouth. I do believe it tastes a tiny bit better out of my corn cob pipe though. Browsing the list of best sellers on here as I type. And I'll put up with this one just as long as it takes to get a replacement on this site. I would love to buy from a local shop, but the selection is limited.

You get what you pay for I guess. I purchased this at my local B&M because I ran out of tobacco, and wanted something "today", while I awaited my online delivery. To avoid the excess cost of Retail, I opted for the cheapest stuff I could find. This was it. While it smells decent out of the bag, Can't really taste any Cherry Flavor, and lacks the sweet taste of Cavendish. Also....it's kind of a "heavy" smoke. I could NEVER smoke this all day. Can barely smoke two bowls in a row. Goopy residue at bottom of each bowl. I can't even recommend this as a desperation tobacco. Just not enjoyable.
