I've smoked this for several years and love it. It's mild, flavorful, rich, and others enjoy the aroma.

My husband smokes and is very happy.

I get the good taste for a few bowls. The flavor is the expectation. The package size and amount of packages I buy a month would satisfy any pipe smoker for several weeks, and then months. Non smokers and individuals tampering with the good inexpensive blend. Should die of any disease and be fed too the rodents.

Actually I use it to mix with the lane tobacco to give me the taste I seek. I would prefer the captain black originalin the can but price dictates I go with a cheaper product. Are you ever gonna get the captain black original in the bulk again?

Okay product. I like the flavor this adds to my smoke. Drawback, don't like the cut of the tobacco and it's super wet. I have to air dry the tobacco before use.

Not the best but not bad by any means. The only vanilla I detect would be in the room note or somewhat in the after aroma. From my limited experience, I’d say this is the standard in pouch tobacco blends. Smokes hot and leaves a fair bit of moisture in the bowl. Sutliff Panna Cotta/Vanilla Custard has made this all but obsolete for me at this point.

I am still new to pipe smoking but I have had the pleasure of buying in bulk and getting many different blends. I have to say the flavors of this tobacco are strong and I believe that is from the still wet content before shipping. If you let it dry before you light it up it is a pleasant experience but if you forget the Tongue bite will let you know you forgot. Overall a great cheap all day smoke.

Super value is by far the leader of the pack when it comes to flavor, taste and aroma ! I may be coo coo for Cocoa Puffs but I absolutely love this blend !!!!!!

I couldn't taste/smell too much vanilla, but it is incredibly cheap for the amount of tobacco you get. It burns hot so be careful, take small "sips" off the pipe when you're smoking this. I have 3oz of this stuff left and will probably use it only when I run out of my other tobaccos.

It's pretty good. Not my favorite now since I've branched out into other aromatics, but it's good for the price. I enjoy an extremely sweet taste and smell and this is moderate. It may be a good fit for most, but I enjoy the sweeter stuff.

I compare it to my "Smokers Pride" Vanilla. Super Value is not as aromatic, it is much to wet and needed to dry out some. It goos up the pipe and filters, and leaves too much goo in the bowel as well. It is mild, and has a fair flavor however. All in all, not bad for the price.

The flavoring is light so it does not overpower. Comes pretty damp so will need a bit of drying time for a good burn and a mild smoke (I use a mixing bowl for a few days). The only negative is that the cut is a little too thin and it may pack a little to tightly; I often blend it with heavier cut and/or flavored tobaccos. It is what it is... a value product at a good bulk price.

FAIR FOR PRICE BUT NOT AS GOOD AS CAPTAIN BLACK GOLD!!

I've been a pipe smoker for 60 years and settled on Super Value Vanilla for most all of my smoking life. When I'm out walking around with my pipe in my mouth I get "nice aroma" comments from people I pass, men and women. The women love it.

I like both the aroma and taste of Super Value Vanilla better than Smoker's Pride. To me the former is a little smoother than the latter. There is a considerable difference in moistness of these two with Super Value being significantly more moist than Smoker's Pride. IMO Smoker's Pride is too dry without some humidification before smoking. Theoretically Smokers Pride gives a little more volume of tobacco for the same weight shipped because of the dryness. Smokers Pride was OK when Super Value had problems shipping and/or Pipes and Cigars had problems keeping it in stock, but I returned to Super Value as soon as it became regularly available.

I complain nothing for such high C/P ratio of super value tabaco C&P is offering. In addition, C&P is very good at marketing and sales, I must say. I also highly appreciate their quality services!

Smoked through 2 ounces of this before finally deciding to give up on it. Not much flavor or smell of vanilla to this and just wasn't enjoyable to smoke for me. Only other thing I have to compare this two is the Smokers Pride Cherry which is the same price but is much more enjoyable to me at least as a new smoker.

I have been smoking a pipe since 1972 and found the Super Value Vanilla for years. I have tried other brands, but still have not found anything close to this. The best I have found is a vanilla and bourban mix but I can not find it in my area.

I have smoked this tobacco for many years, but normally have to wait for it to be on sale now. Like everything else the price has risen faster than my fixed income. It is a really smooth mild tobacco for an enjoyable smoke.

For an everyday smoke when working in the yard or other chores this is a nice light simple blend. It has flavor and a hint of sweetness and vanilla. I often smoke while concentrating on a task and do not spend the attention due for a high-priced big-name blend. The best part is that more than a couple of times ladies have stopped me to say how the aroma reminds them of their father or grandfather. This is blend I will keep around.
