Sutliff Cherry Bon Bon

Sometimes, a cherry-flavored tobacco can be too sharp or cloyingly sweet. Sutliff Cherry Bon Bon avoids this by using a base of toasted, then slowly-steamed black Cavendish made from select Green River Burley, and finishes it with a more subtle note of dark cherry, and rounds off the rough edges by adding a bit of warm dark chocolate, making it more reminiscent of the holiday confectionery treat. It has a smooth, pleasant room note, and the flavor is subtle and remarkably enjoyable. While many black Cavendishes are overly moist and hard to keep lit easily, Cherry Bon Bon seems to have a much drier feel than most similar blends. Even though its not a damp tobacco, Sutliff Cherry Bon Bon should be packed with a somewhat lighter touch because black Cavendishes compress easily and can cause a tight draw. 

Many people were terribly disappointed when Peter Stokkebye stopped making their tobacco by the same name, but this version from Sutliff more than adequately fills the void. When smoked slowly, you will definitely taste sweet, juicy cherry with a hint of dark chocolate. Take the time to sit back and relax with this marvelous aromatic. Youll be very glad you did.
