My favorite by far. Everything
My favorite by far. Everything from the tin aroma to the taste and room note . Definitely stocking up on this one to cellar. I go to different sites to get it if it’s out of stock on one.

I am not a fan of sweet Tobacco. However I share my house and my wife is not a fan of Latakia. So I tried this and really liked it. Smooth, not overly sweet and still tobacco. Happy wife. Happy life.

Not as Good as 1897
Not bad, but not as good as 4th Gen. 1897. Will let it sit out for awhile and try again

Very nice
I just enjoyed some tonight and I'm pretty happy with it. My local brick an mortar recommended it back in December. I opened the tin and let it dry a little. A bit wet but good. Two months later with a little more drying it is pretty tasty. There is a hint of berries to it but it's pretty mild. Smoked almost completely down with very little moisture. I'm happy with it.

Nice Smoke
I'm liking this blend quite a bit. It fills a nice place between kick your butt latakia and a mellow soft black cavendish.

BEST full-on Aromatic I have ever tried.
An absolutely amazing full-on Aromatic. Best one I have ever tried besides 1957. Tin note is superb, smoke is cool and flavorful, and leaves a room note to die for.

Watermark aromatic
I compare all aromatics to 4th Generation 1982. There are plenty of good ones, but this sets the watermark for me. If your on the fence, go ahead and get one; you won't regret it!

Customer Testimonials
My fiancé got me the "Tobacco of the Month" as a gift. This tin came in the March 2015 selection. I've been smoking a pipe for 45 years, and this is now among my "Top Ten" favorites. It is wonderful. I'm going to order a half-dozen tins for special times.

I am an admitted rookie when it comes to pipe tobacco, but I really enjoy this blend. Its a smooth smoke and the fruit flavors come across excellent especially during lighting and relighting. I don't pick up on the vanilla notes as of yet, maybe that will develop later on. Its not too wet and very much smokable out of the tin. My novice palate gives it a 4.5 out of 5
