It just fits the bill for me. Smokes great and feels good in the hand.

This is a nice looking pipe and smokes well. I would give it a 5-star rating but for one thing. The thing is that moisture collects in the stem where it meets the shank. This might be because of the material that makes up the orange band. The constant gurgling can be annoying and the excess moisture may cause a little heat to build up during the smoke. Otherwise, the shape is classically nice, the pipe light and feels comfortable in the mouth. The gurgling sound can be ignored and another smoker might rate the pipe 5-stars, but the build up of liquid does make for a moisture than usual smoke. I'm happy with the pipe and assume the moisture collection will correct itself over time with use.
