Here's a tribute to be proud of. The A. Flores Gran Reserva Corojo was created to pay homage to Abe Flores, the creator of Pinar del Rio, and this is one special cigar.
Beside the gorgeous box, bands and cedar sleeves, the first things that jumps out at you is the incredibly oily Domincan-grown Corojo wrapper, which has been aging since 2006. This is paired with a Dominican binder and Nicaraguan Habano fillers. The cigar is a solid medium in body and has notes of cedar, roasted nuts, cream and sweet spices on a crisp finish. The aroma is outstandingly pleasant.
Pricey? Yes, but this is a special edition that justifies the cost.
