AJ Fernandez San Lotano Requiem Maduro is another stroke of genius from AJ Fernandez. This hearty cigar uses a blend of filler from Nicaragua and Honduras and surrounds it with a dark San Andres wrapper. The overall character is robust but round, with a dense, almost chewy smoke and a smooth sub-note of sweetness that ties it all together.
I enjoyed this cigar. Smooth, tons of smoke, great taste, just a pleasure.

Got a few of the old label style when these were #2 cigar of the year, and they’ve been a favorite since. I was bummed when they arrived with a different label, but this is the same exact cigar as the San Lotano Maduro, just new branding from AJ. Smooth, light draw with just the right amount of smoke. Beautiful smoke.
