AJ Fernandez knows how to make a bold cigar, I mean, just look at Diesel and Man O' War. San Lotano was a Cuban brand that AJ's family made, so when he left Cuba, he wanted to resurrect the brand, and the result was an amazing series of cigars. When he wanted to add something big and bold, he decided to create AJ Fernandez San Lotano The Bull.
These box-pressed beauties have flavor to spare, made of Nicaraguan long-fillers and binder, enrobed by an extra-dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. There are rich notes of coffee, wood, leather, and rich spices, along with hints of dark fruit. The Bull is remarkably well-behaved, so it's safe for a china shop, but I think it's better in the evening, in front of a fire, with your favorite libation.
