All I Need Starter Kit

First of all a very big thank you to Pipes and Cigars for offering this kit to their customers. The pipe alone is worth double the price of this kit, plus you get a large tin of Sutliff, a bag of 80 Decatur cleaners, and a Czech tool? Absolutely amazing value. The pipe: it's pretty cool. Sleek and smooth design, fits well in a suit coat pocket with no bulge. It honestly reminds me of something I might have smoked a more "wacky" tobaccy out of when I was a teenager. When I saw "Made in Holland" on the box I was not surprised. But seriously, it's a nice little modern design pipe that's great for a quick smoke. The meerschaum lined bowl is a nice addition and, on the red pipe I ordered, gives it a nice little color contrast. I didn't read the reviews and don't recall it in the item description, so I was unaware that this pipe uses a 9mm filter. That might explain why for the first half a bowl I thought I'd packed it too tight. It did smooth out after a bit. I generally don't use filters so it's no problem if I have to remove it. The bowl did get pretty hot, but that might be due to the high suction I had to apply to draw on it, and the design is such that one can easily hold it by the "stem" if necessary. The tobacco: Haven't tried it yet but it gets pretty good reviews, so I'm looking forward to it. Every P&C customer should buy this kit! The value alone shows that this once per customer kit is a special offering.

Not only a great deal, but this pipe is sleek and feels great to hold - has a very nice draw - I also love the aroma and flavor of the tobacco.
