Amphora has a great collection of fantastic and very popular blends, but something was missing - a Latakia-based tobacco. Well, that's no longer the case with the introduction of Amphora English Blend.
Amphora English Blend uses the tried-and-true, traditional approach using select sweet Virginias, small-leaf Orientals, and, of course, rich, smoky Cyprian Latakia. The Latakia isn't overdone so it allows the other players to make their presence known. This is a cool-smoking blend that's naturally fragrant with the classic campfire note you would expect. Best of all, it's remarkably affordable.
A well balanced, flavorful, mellow tobacco, but too wet in a freshly opened pouch. It was so wet that it could not be get lit and the pouch had to be left open to partially dry. This risks evaporating natural tobacco and added flavors that are volatile. After drying a while, it was a very good English blend for those who like these blends, as I do, and I have smoked many of them over the years, including the best of all, Balkin Sobranie. Try it. A real good deal.

It’s a little wet can you use some dry time . It’s smells great has exactly what I look for in an English, campfire smoky smell! I love definitely going yo put this in my rotation.

A pleasant blend with hints

A pleasant blend with hints of Latakia and Perique, Amphora English blend is reminiscent of some of the Balkan bends I have smoked in the past.
The Virginia base provides a smoothness and easy burning—not too hot. I gave it only four out of five stars because it was not quite as satisfying as the finest Balkan Sobrani pipe tobacco I have smoked in years gone by.

Tobacco was very fresh. Amphora English blend is outstanding. No bite, smooth and tasty. I’m very partial to all of the Amphora blends. Great product, good price.

A fine tobacco and a very enjoyable smoke. The price is right also, I think its just as good or better than some I have smoked that cost almost twice as much. Give it a try!
