This tobacco has gotten some good responses when I first started the tin. Sadly burned a bit hot.
Only reason I gave a 4star is it was drier then I felt it should be. I have put a clay disc in to moisten it back

The sweetness and flavor comes out as advertised. I found the profile from the day the can was opened to the last smoke was solid and true. Can't quite put my finger on the notes... they was indeed subtle: maple, coconut and dark chocolate

My new favorite. I've enjoyed Ashton cigars in the past, thought I'd take a chance on their pipe blends. So far they've all been enjoyable but - to my taste - Smooth Sailing is the most enjoyable. Mellow, light on the tongue, and deep in flavor.

Smooth sailing is true to its description. It is an extremely mellow, easy smoke. The main drawback is that it leaves a bit of a funky aftertaste. A pretty good choice for a mild mood.

This was the first tinned tobacco I had ever smoked. I kept it and looked for it for years after my local shop stop selling it. It is a nice smooth blend and you can really getting the coconut flavor out of it, but it only takes a little of getting too hot for it to go south.
When i first smoked this it was smoother or maybe at the time I just didnt know any better since it was my first tin. The point is that if you havent tried it and want kind of a coconut with cream feel then get this. Over all I might buy this again years from now just to remember my younger days, but this will not be an everyday rotation.

If you're not big on airomatics; don't bother. I swing both ways, but this is a little too much. Ashton should stick to cigars.

Pretty nice blend, very aromatic from the tin. Picked this up in a local cigar shop just to try. Much cheaper on this site though. Don't think I like it enough to order again...one of those that smells really good in the tin but when you smoke it, the taste is just eh.
