Asylum 13 Ogre is unique, which is what happens when master cigarmaker Christian Eiroa thinks outside the box. The first thing you'll notice is the barberpole combination of Habano and Candela wrapper surrounding robust Nicaraguan filler leaf. It almost seems to be an oxymoron to call a cigar smooth and full-flavored, but it's an apt description for the Ogre.
If you want a cigar that has a flavor as singular as its appearance, you've got to give this one a try.
They were robust cigars, with a nice mouthfeel. They were especially tasty after having had the chance to mature in the humidor for a few days. I really liked how they weren't dry at all, like I kind of suspected mail-order cigars would have the potential of being.
