Big Ben Mavyn Pipes

Smokes great, very cool smoke, design is beautiful however can only give it 3 stars because the bowl actually fell out on me the other day which was really disappointing guess I've had it about 6 months, it's still functional when I put it back in but feel like it should have been better secured.

My big ben mavyn (black) is the perfect pipe for me. From the bowl to the bit. The look to me is that of luxury and sport. The aluminum shank that extends itself under and up the bowl ensures me the cool smoke Iam expecting. The bottom of the shank is ribbed in a idealic art deco vibe, And serves as the fins on an air cooled motorcycle engine cooling the stummel as iam outside, amongst the public. The weight compares to carrying a round a child's lollipop..and it's shape demands attention! The Mavyn screams class and satisfaction....if Iam home rocking on my deck...out late in the evening at a weekend venue....or after a holiday dinner with the family....big ben deliciously delivers

I like the style and it’s comfortable in my hand

I really love the look of this pipe, but as a new pipe smoker I find it difficult to keep lit. I usually put my thumb over the air inlet on the back of the bowl used to cool the smoke to keep the tobacco burning, but then the bowl and metal get to hot to be comfortable. I hope I can get this smoking nicely as I really love it's aesthetic.

A beautiful pipe with a glossy finish. The weight is very light. The metal contrasts well with the black mouthpiece.

Very happy with the craftsmanship and looks. Pipe smokes great. Quickly becoming one of my favorites.

I took out the filter and it smokes just fine it always stays cool no bite I get a lot of flavor from my aromatics

Was a little optimistic about how well it would cool the smoke but was impressed that it did. Works great and smokes well

It smokes cooler than a normal pipe. It has a little larger bowl for a longer smoke which I like.

I AGREE WITH THE OTHER REVIEWS.OUTOF THE GATE THIS PIPE WAS VERY HOT TO SMOKE AND HOLD.BUT AFTER ABOUT A DOZEN OR SO not To comfortableSMOKES AND AFTER A DECENT CAKE FORMED THIS PIPE TURNED COMPLETELY AROUND IT IS NOW MY GO TO PIPE. VERY COOL SMOKING AND THE METAL STAYS COOL ALSO.SO PLEASE DONT GIVE UP ON THIS ONE ITS WELL WORTH THE EXTRA EFFORT

This pipe looked beautiful in the advertisement. My wife purchased one for me as a gift. Regrettably, it is not a very nice pipe. The stem will not seat all the way leaving a fairly large gap and it is difficult to remove for cleaning. Above all else, it is simply not a very good smoker either and I find myself overlooking it whenever I pick a different pipe for the week. Because of this, I have not partnered a tobacco with this pipe and it will probably just sit there on the rack for some time to come.

The pipe is absolutely gorgeous, however the aluminum gets so hot you can't hold it. This pipe has been put into my pipes to look at collection.
