Big Ben Pipe Filters

Good quality and just what I needed

Overall beer really good quality pipe filter they gather up quite a bit of liquids and help keep the flavor fresh and smooth because of the carbon. However they are a bit long for most of the pipes I use them in by only like a 16th of an inch.

You need to increase your stock the last time I ordered could not get the package of 40 have to pay more money to get the package at 10 if you're going to sell them stock them

Stops moisture from reaching your tongue, blocks any harshness from smoke. As with all Big Ben products excellent. No bite from the tobacco makes for an enjoyable smoke.

It appears to be doing the job it was designed for. Great filter great price!

Nice filters. Ceramic ends help keep the shape and seem to keep them from slogging out. I like 'em.

I find these filters are the best. They last for many bowls before I need to change it out

These babies work great. My only negative: the packaging is quite flimsy; the box openings break down too quickly.

I only have 3 briar pipes, these filters work very well for 2 large bowls. They come out really gunky and black if I try three smokes (Lane 1Q or BCA). They stop moisture and little chucks of tobacco and ash from hitting my mouth. Works for me...

These filters are top quality, and for the twice the price I paid for 10 from my local pipe and tobacco shop I get 100 filters. No excuss to not change for every use to get the best taste and filter protection.

Not chalky or paper pre-taste or after taste.

Other filters taste like paper or with a faint chemical residue. Big Ben are clear from any taste, thus you can get the best out of your tobacco.

I was VERY hesitant to get a pipe that caused me to get yet a different style filter, but I read so many good things about Big Ben pipes, I had to try them. I can now say I wish ALL of my Pipes had these filters. These filters really make for a dry smoke from beginning to end. No gurgling! I smoked many bowls and bowl after bowl and enjoyed no gurgling. However once the gurgling started... the filter is done. I thing that provided me about 10 - 12 bowls over a months period before I needed to replacing the filter.

These filters are the only 9mm filter I ever use. They do a great job. You get what you pay for, these are the best filters that come in 9mm. I urge anyone to try them. You will be highly satisfied with their performance.

VERY GOOD, Waiting for larger quantities

I'm enjoying both the pipes, filters, tobacco and accessories from pipes and cigars. The filters are good filters, and give good filtration and lessen the bite, but for some reason they are slightly too large for some pipes and get crushed in the process of installing it to the stem or maybe the problem is the pipe itself I don't know.

Every bowl I smoke I use a Big Ben filter because they greatly the moisture from the smoke

These are a perfect fit for my Big Ben Royal Tan 033. They are the only 9mm filters i've used, but I like them.

Inexpensive, easy to load & remove without falling apart!

I was skeptical at first to use these filters because I heard that they can take away some flavor but needed them for a newly acquired pipe. I find they don’t other than perhaps when first lighting the bowl where you get a little of a charcoaly taste which quickly goes away. What they do is give a cool, dry but still flavorful smoke that leaves the mouth feeling less irritated than when smoking without a charcoal filter. Highly recommended.

Big ben filters really work well in the BB Bora pipe i recently purchased. Despite popular urban legend filters do not detract from flavor or the pleasant smokability of good tobacco. My first bowl in this pipe with filter was Dunhill navy roll and it was exceptional. As was P.C. Services and customer oriented focus

I waited some time to get the 200 pack it was always on back order. So I had to buy 2, 40 packs making me spend more money on filters

Excellent pipe filters

These filters work great. They don't cause a difference in taste and really seem to reduce gunk. I wish they fit a bit tighter as there is a tiny rattle upon draw. No big deal though. Work as advertised and a good value. I use them in a Luca Vanetti bent smooth apple briar. Over all a great set up.

They provide a dry cool smoke.

I ordered the Big Ben filters because the Stanwell filters, which I normally use, were out of stock. The Big Ben filters seem to work just as well as the Stanwells, and I believe they are a bit less expensive than the Stanwells. I'll probably go for the lower price in the future.

great for the money

It looks great and smokes great. However, I ordered 9mm filters from you and can't figure out how to use them. Any suggestions?

Works as advertised. Cool filtered smoke. However, you can only use it once and if you push it maybe twice but no more after that. It is made of paper on the outside and it gets too wet and the charcoal absorbs a tremendous amount of the, I guess tar or nicotine making it just about useless after one bowl.

You have to draw deeply in order to smoke.

These are my favorite filters. They work very well and don't fall apart and spill beads everywhere when I pull the stem of of my pipe
