Just added the Houston Light Acorn #1 to my collection. I own several Bjarne Viking pipes and this one stands out. I just love the finish, beautiful briar grain, silver band accent, and rounding of the bowl mouth. Smoked it last night with some Frog Morton on the Town. Heaven. Will buy more of the Houston series. Thanks P&C for a great price on a terrific pipe!!!

The picture doesn't do it justice, the finish on it is absolutely gorgeous and the bowl is a little bit more intricate than the picture shows. It's a little bit lighter than the picture too, close to an orange but, still a nice light brown. Silver band really is to the character of the pipe and it feels nice in the mouth. The stem is a little bit wide, and it can be quite difficult to put a softie bit on it, but other than that I have absolutely no complaints, it has been an excellent addition to my collection.
