Black Ops Maduro is nothing like what you would expect. When you see the packaging and band, it can be, well, intimidating. When you look at the cigars themselves, you might think that they're ridiculously expensive. You'd be wrong on both counts.
Even though these sticks are ominously dark, clad in an oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper which surrounds Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, this is not a pepper bomb. The flavors smack of espresso and cocoa, with some sweet spice. Even though the body is on the full side of medium, it delivers a lot of taste without overwhelming. Best of all, they're less than half the price of other comparable maduros.
These are a really great smoke. Always the same great taste. They have become my go to smoke. Give them a try. Might become your go to smoke also.

Burns well all the way through. Favorite cigar I have had yet. I drive a truck and it got me through the busy season. Highly recommend!

I've been a pipe smoker for years, just recently added cigars to my long list of "hobbies". For the price I really enjoy the Black Ops Maduro. I tend to go towards a deep, dark, stronger cigar, but this stick satisfies without breaking the bank. Not as strong as I like; but does have good spice, leather, and earthy taste throughout. Great stick for the money. Will keep plenty in my humidor.

This stoogie has a dark funky aroma and taste prelight. The first third is tasty but not over bearing with a pungent odor. The middle third while richening in flavor gave me notes of leather and coffee. The final third to me was deep leather and hints of spice. I was impressed by the stregnth and smoothness throughout. I never got a stong bite even though I smoked down to just above the cap. I did notice the cap was not perfectly formed, it held up fine. I used a cats eye cutter, my preference, and found it to compliment the cigar. Great humidor fillers to space out those pricey sticks or to share.

This is my first time smoking these. I got them because I was a former Green Beret and thought the name was cool. Great with a cup of coffee in the morning and the cigars came wrapped in a cloth wrapper with a Black ops patch, really cool.
