Brigadier Black Duo Sampler

The flavor wasn't too mellow but was too mellow for me, I has hoping for a black Cavendish flavor and i was disappointed by the lack of any strong flavor. Not bad but just not for me.

This was an interesting pairing by P&C. The Sherman's March was the star of the show. The both the rum and the maple really came through and was reminiscent of a maple blend I found years ago at a now-closed brick and mortar tobacco shop. Antietam didn't hold up as well, as I found the cherry flavor rather subdued. The blend of cavendish seemed perfectly proportioned in the can and smoked quite well. I just found that the cherry fell down out of the gate and was just too mild for my taste. However, it didn't suffer from any bite the way many other cherry blends have. I will definitely finish the can because the burn quality is high. One of my favorites is Lane Very Cherry LBG-TB-1000 which I also ordered at the same time and may have contaminated by point of view because I like that one so much.

Fast becoming a favorite. All the Brigadier Black baccys are really good.

I have smoked all of the Brigadier and Black tobaccos. Each has its own special character. All are good-quality tobaccos with subtle sweetness and flavoring and pleasant room notes. For the price, you can't go wrong.
