Buying this kit is great. You get a good pipe for a discount price and some decent tobacco to try. What more can you ask for.

This product was better than I expected for the price. I very much like the pipe, it was pre-seasoned and chamfered, so that I did not have to break it in with the bare wood but could use it immediately. The 3 in 1 pipe tool was better quality than I had hoped, and the tobacco was excellent, no nasty aromatics to burn your tongue.

I’ll order the tobacco on it’s own, it is a clean burn, only ash is left, although I usually smoke English style tobaccos this aromatic is not overpower, great tin note, in this case pouch note, room note is pleasant also, no bite, overall very impressed with this aromatic. I’m a fan of Crown pipes and I lucked out I got a bent, most of my pipes are straight, bonus points for the Czech tool, another of my favorites, I have at least 6 of them. The pipe cleaner meh, but hey a nice touch

This is a can’t miss starter kit for 20 bones. The pipe cleaners and czech tool are great...I haven’t sampled the tobacco yet but it smells wonderful...recieved a Crown 733 bent...very sharp looking briar...I love bent pipes so this was above and beyond what I expected! I will definitely recommend this kit...just bump some Lane 1Q bulk on your order and you’re good to go! I don’t use filters...and removed the stinger...draws great! An attractive little pipe...I really like it. You can’t go wrong on this one...even if you’re just filling out your rotation. 👍

I received the Brigadier Black kit as a birthday gift. The tobacco (Antietam] has a comfortable palate, that doesn't bite the tongue. The pipe is a Crown 733, and though I am still getting used to it, I am enjoying the natural way it feels. Both are definitely worth the purchase. Pipes and Cigars service is also commendable, shipping was fast and delivery was before anticipated.

What a nice pipe this is! It's light, has a beautiful finish and smokes well. If it had a vulcanite stem I'd have given it another star. I can put up with acrylic but don't really like it and am considering trying a light sanding of the mouthpiece to see if that helps. The tobacco is entirely forgettable, I cannot find anything positive to say about it. Its neither fish nor fowl, perhaps thats what they were aiming for? How can we mix tobaccos so they cancel out each others virtues? The tobacco stole a star from the pipe which I thought I was reviewing separately. I needed the Czech pipe tool which is absolutely perfect combining a pick, a scraper and a tamper all in one. This was a good package and I guess, in a pinch, I may be glad to discover the tobacco in my cellar when I've run dry of everything else. Sorry but it really is that much of a non descript smoke.

For years I’ve been wanting to try a pipe, growing up my grandfather always smoked a pipe and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I got a Crown #728 pipe in my kit. The Antietam tobacco is amazing, I have the Dunhill in a jar.

For the Price I paid, I am very pleased. Pipe was a Crown 728, good lil smoker. Also the Antietam tobacco was pretty good, does have some bite to it, but I may have been smoking it to fast....

The kit overall is a great value for the price. The tool is very useful, The tobacco is fairly decent, and the pipe (though cheap) is not bad. You'll want a nicer pipe (for me it was a crown 606) however for what they ask it's nearly impossible to do better.

The pipe I receved is a gorgeous chary brown. No metal ring. It was much closer to my prefered pipe style. Im thrilled and loving this pipe. The Antietam blind incleded in this starter kite is a pleasent cheery blind with nice roomnotets. Mild and tasty. Well done guyes. Thrilled with this purchase.

I am definitely interested in this aluring beauty, plus the kit comes with all the accesories and a pouch of pipe tobacco. I've been a pipe smoker since 2009. It will definitely please me plus it is my favorite color, black! I am gothic in some ways and black is my favorite color, and who says pipe smoking has a nasty odor, I personally love the smell of pipe tobacco in fact I have a pouch but not Antietam but I will be pleased to try it.
