Brigham Heritage Pipes Sale

Bought a 519 Canadian. Still breaking it in; it's a nice pipe but it's been somewhat problematic. Just getting back to pipes after a 45+ year absence, so FWIW. The Good: It's a large, stout, very good looking and well made pipe. The Bad: It's too big (my bad), hard to clench and smokes wet. Very hard to smoke to the bottom of the bowl as there's always a lot of moisture there. Soggy tobacco flakes get drawn into the airway and impede the draw. Don't know how heel cake will ever form in this pipe. This with smoking OTCs like CH, PA, Half & Half, and Velvet; not goopy aros. I've had the pipe gurgle a few times even with the filter system. They say you can pass a pipe cleaner through the Rock Maple filter; and you can. But if you do it'll leave pipe cleaner fuzz in the filter. When it gets wet, the draw will go downhill along with taste.
