My favorite pipe brand and I’m fond of the name having gone to school at West Virginia University. The maple filters are excellent too

The Brigham Mountaineer is a beautiful pipe that is an excellent smoker. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star pipe is the fact that you really can't smoke more than 1 bowl at a time if you are a wet smoker. The rock maple swells which makes removal difficult. Although I have other rock maple filters it takes about an hour for the used filter to shrink back down so that it can be replaced with a new filter. The filters are washable and reusable many times just not in quick succession. Even if you are a wet smoker like me, do not let this 1 drawback stand in your way this is a beautiful, well made and good smoking pipe--that Pipes and Cigars has the absolute best price on!

This is my first Brigham. I’m a Viking guy normally, but thought I’d give this one a try. It smokes fairly dry and draws very well. This is a very well built pipe. I’m impressed with this one. My only concern is it seems a to burn hot to the touch. I still prefer the Viking but will add a Brigham or two. I’d take either over a Savenlli which was all I wanted for 50 years.

This pipe was much better than I expected. There is a definite problem in getting the filter out of it. I don't want to ruin this lovely pipe, but the filter will not dislodge.

A very nice pipe.

I like the pipe, but it arrived scuffed up and some scratches on the front. Smokes wonderful, but the bowl does get warmer than other shapes. I do like it and will polish it up, the defects are small which happens. Would I recommend, definitely yes.

I have three Brigham pipes and am fully satisfied. Well made, fine looking, and a good smoker(once filter is removed).

I have enjoyed my Brigham Mountaineer. The fit and finish seem to be very good and the filter definitely helps with keeping the smoke "dry".

Classic lines, good length and weight. Beautiful detailed wood grain and finish. Cradles nicely in your hand. Great value for the money.

A very handsome and well made pipe. Fits well in the hand, tends to get a little hot if smoked too fast. The filter does a wonderful job wicking the moisture from the stem.

Lightweight and good mouth feel. Smokes cool and dry with included filter. My second purchase of this pipe.

Double Great!

This is actually the first pipe I bought. I have had it about two weeks and I love the feel of the pipe. I have bigger hands and it is nice to feel like I am not going to break it just holding it. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for their first pipe.

Solid and well-fitting construction, good drawing, and easy on the wallet, too. I recommend it to anyone looking for a decent pipe to add to their collection.

You sent 4 packs of pipe cleaners with bristles. I had ordered plain pipe cleaners. All pipes ok. The best of the rest English was a nice surprise.

I really love this pipe. It smokes cool all the way down to a grey ash. The price was affordable, a bargain really when you look at the prices of pipes these days and smokes as good, no, better than some very expensive hand-mades i’ve owned. I’m very happy with this Brigham and bought two more recently.
