Bugler Blue

I prefer this cut for my hand rolled cigarettes. It doesn't pack as tight as finer cut and is much less expensive.

This pipe cut lasts so much longer than the finer cigarette cut. Serves my needs very well.

Sure, you can smoke this in a pipe. I like to use this tobacco for roll your own. I use Top tubes in a Top hand crank injector and this tobacco works just fine. The old tubs and boxes of Bugler said it had Turkish and Virginia tobacco in the blend. The wording on the bags now reads, Virginia and aged mahogany burley. Bugler still tastes the same is it did 40 years ago, which is rich, mellow, and buttery. Bugler is the number one tobacco preferred by RYOers.

Having tried other brands and not been terribly happy with the result I went to Bugler because they had rolling tobacco that I was satisfied with so I tried the pipe tobacco and got the same results. Unfortunately I stopped looking around at what was available and stayed with Bugler. I'm sure there are other brands out there that are also good.

No soapy aftertaste. No stems. Good spongy feel Easy to roll.

I've used bugler for many years off and on. I many use this for a switch from my regular tobacco. Excellent flavor my only wish is that it came in the old school can but the resealable bag keeps it fresh. I'll definitely purchase again

the best for roll your owns, just like any old bugler, the only thing that would be better in a pipe tobacco would be good old zig zag. like the old cans. ummm ummmm

Great tasting and mild and not harsh like others I tried before.

I smoke cigarettes and pipe tobacco. I roll my own cigs ($) and for years used Bugler cigarette tobacco until the Gov decided he had the right to take my money because the Big tobacco companies said it was unfair competition for roll your own tobacco to not be subject to monstrous taxes as were they. I now smoke bugler pipe tobacco in RYO and while inferior to their cigarette tobacco it is still quite satisfying.

Lyle, While i love Bugler, it is lower on the list of top Turkish blends. Ramback Gold is the finest Turkish (Izmir) tobacco sold today. It will take you back to when Camel's actually had top shelf Turkish leaf. Following D&R is Peter Stokkybe Turkish, also a fine RYO but almost as good. For my tastes i blend a tin of Ramback with a bag of OHM Turkish so i can extend the Ramback.

I bought this as a suggestion from a friend. I have smoked 5 Brothers for quite sometime. I was told that Bugler was the same quality and taste. Unfortunately that is not the case. Reminded me of burning leaves. Back to 5 Brothers for me.

enjoyable smoke/ with zen extra smooth tubes and smoking a few week tried a Marlboro lights and would rather have bugler blue light mild and smooth!!! Takes about a week to get over Marlboro lights and forget trying to find the same taste and you won't have the chemical taste in back of your mouth good stuff

Oddly enough this lasted me for two months using RYO. It's always moist when you first get it so it's a struggle keeping it that way. You never notice until you get a new batch. Anyway, this is definitely my favorite low priced Turkish smokes. I'm definitely buying this again. I wish it came in a 16oz bag though. It would've lasted another month.

Giving this 4 stars because Wife and Daughter use this as RYO and like it. I am looking for something comparable to Bugler, D&R perhaps,OHM, if anyone has a thought, much appreciated. I will keep an eye out for any reviews on something better.

The bag I received was dry and harsh, but actually had good flavor lying beneath it. I couldn't finish a bowl-full. I mixed it with some bourbon, vanilla extract and a little food grade glycerin and it now it's a great pipe tobacco.

We have a cigarette tube filler gizmo.. Bugler is the exact dryness and texture that it performs about perfectly as we make our own smokes. The flavor is excellent also, not harsh in anyway.. People have come over and tried our Bugler cigs and rave about them compared to their regular (Newports) for example… and Thanks P&C for excellent service and delivery..
