Caldwell cigar fans may remember Anastasia. Due to a limited quantity of wrapper leaf, it came and went like the wind. Now, after some tweaking, we're glad to bring you Caldwell Anastasia H.
This time around, the wrapper is a golden-brown Habano leaf. Most of the blend is a secret, although the long-fillers hail from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Caldwell Anastasia H maintains a medium to full-body and features notes of leather and smooth spice with some sweet caramel on the finish. I considered the original to be one of the more sophisticated cigars I had tried, and the newest version certainly doesn't disappoint in that regard.
