Sequels are all the rage in Hollywood, and it seems that they've worked their way into the cigar biz. Here's Caldwell Hit and Run Part Deux.
Robert Caldwell and Matt Booth (of Room 101 fame) teamed up to make the original Hit and Run, and they decided that a follow-up was in order, and it's one heck of an encore. Clad in a milk chocolate-colored Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of long-fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the US for a little more 'oomph" than the original, while maintaining a medium body. Made in the same factory as the original, this is a super-flavorful cigar that boasts a burst of pepper at first light which moves to the background as notes of cocoa, spicy wood, and leather take over. Make room for this cigar. It was worth the wait.
