CAO's incredibly unique OSA Sol line was introduced at the 2011 IPCPR show. Creating this cigar was a labor of love for Rick Rodriguez, the mastermind behind this new blend. After an exhaustive search for the perfect wrapper was complete when he found the 2008 crop of sungrown leaf from Olancho, San Agustin (hence the OSA). Once this exquisite leaf was in place, Rodriguez set out to make the perfect complimentary blend. He finished it off with a rich blend of fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras, and a Connecticut binder really ties the smoke together.
CAO fans who give this one a try will be rewarded with thick, chunky smoke and a variety of rich and complex flavors highlighted by notes of earth and spice.
