Casa Cuevas Connecticut. Not familiar with the name? That's okay. How about Sam Leccia, Gurkha, and Torano? You've heard of them, right? Well, some of their cigars have been made in Casa Cuevas' Tabacalera Las Lavas factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Now that we've gotten the intro out of the way, let's talk about this cigar.
Casa Cuevas Connecticut is a little richer than your run of the mill Connecticut Shade-wrapped cigar. It sports a golden, flavorful Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper which conceals a zesty Habano binder, and a collection of superb Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler. Coming in at a solid medium body, it has notes of leather, sweet wood, cream, nuts, and smooth baking spices. Connecticut fans will definitely want to try these.
