Cherokee Black

not very black(cavendish), but mild. Smoke all day. no bite. good flavor.

Full bodied

I don't know whether I'd rank if over my usual value go-tos, Prince Albert / Carter Hall, but it is certainly on par with them. Comes a little dry and as stemmy as any value brand (I noticed someone had mentioned that in a review) - not at all overly. Nice taste and smoke, not quite as aromatic as my usual Cavendish, but still pleasant. Does not lend itself to restarts (you gotta sit down with the entire bowl).

I love the Turkish blend. Just enough extra kick for my taste. My new brand.

Cherokee brand is always good value. I am buying the black because it's smoother. The other flavors of this brand are all good. I just like this one better.

Cherokees Black is decent but I think it is too dry. I was also disappointed with the amount of stems.

When I was able to afford it I smoked camel's. Now I roll my own and this leaf is just as satisfying

A fine tasting smoke that while grand for making cigarettes also smokes quite well in my classic clays. mildly sweet and smooth. It does tend to have a good bit of 'timber' in it but not so many stems that you feel shorted. The price is great!

Two things: American produced and virtually perfect for for RYO injectors. Best from more than 2 years of experimental buys from P&C huge selections.

This tobacco has real bold flavor, and the turkish blend is perfect. As an ex-cigar smoker I enjoy bold tobacco taste without toppings. This product fits the bill. I tried a little perique with it, and it didn't add anything. A small pinch of ohm mint is the only worthwhile addition, for those times I want to sweeten it up. The honey like after taste ( no dry mouth) from the turkish tobaccos is good, too. For those who ryo this tobacco will work, as I make cigs for my wife. Yet, at times I tire of my other blends (English, Dark Fired Burley, Perique blends), I really enjoy a few bowl fulls in my briar pipe. Thanks P&C for the sale and introduction. Glad I bought two bags.

best ever for rolling or smoking in a pipe

Having tried the majority of turkish offerings.This is my main go to tobacco. Nice flavor and not topped heavily.Great price to boot.

Good flavor a little light for my liking, but I'm content for the price

This tobacco has a good flavor; however; it is a bit dry when you first open the bag and after its been opened.

It is to harsh, and has no real flavor.

Very similar to D&R Ramback, slightly more harsh but not overly so, very good substitute if you are on a tight budget. Will continue to use Cherokee Black, makes a good smoke.
