Cohiba Puro Dominicana is General Cigar's first Dominican Puro, meaning that all of the tobacco used in the cigar is grown in the Dominican Republic. Up until the Fuentes developed the Opus X, it was believed that wrapper leaf didn't grow well in the DR. Now that that concept has been proven false, a lot of companies are following suit. The wrapper on these cigars are medium-brown with dark veins, and the pre-light aroma is sweet and spicy, and upon lighting there's a toastiness with a bit of pepper on the core. The construction and burn are solid with a fairly firm draw, For a cigar with a uniquely Dominican flavor, try a Cohiba Puro Dominicana.
