Don't move off this page just because this cigar has a Connecticut Shade wrapper. First off, the wrapper on Cornelius & Anthony Aerial is Ecuadorian and a bit darker and richer than the super-creamy US version. That's not to say that this cigar isn't smooth, but it's medium-bodied and very satisfying, in part from a special US-grown binder that kicks up the flavor in concert with Nicaraguan long-fillers, The leather and wood notes you might expect are still here, but they're joined by notes of coffee, herbs, and a nice stream of black pepper. Want to try the stouter side of Connecticut Shade cigars? Give Cornelius & Anthony Aerial a shot.
