Cornell & Diehl Old Joe Krantz Red (formerly Bag Piper) is another of the blends that C&D does so well - Burley-based. Dark and cubed Burley are combined with red Virginia, black Cavendish, Latakia, and Perique to create a blend with smoky, sweet, and spicy notes, and moderate strength.
Good balanced smoke. Its a bit strong and that is what I like. One of my personal favorites.

Cornell & Diehl’s Old Joe Krantz Red has a lot of flavor and for this new piper is new great experience! The Burley, red Virginia, black Cavendish, Latakia, and Perique give this blend the smoky, sweet, and spicy notes, and moderate strength that is described. For me it is a great after dinner, evening smoke. Love the Latakia smokiness!
