Cornell & Diehl Bradyville

If you're looking for a traditional American blend that burns nice and slow, we have the answer. Cornell & Diehl Bradyville has the common mixture of sweet bright Virginia and mellow black Cavendish, but what sets it apart from the typical aromatic is the addition of nutty cube-cut Burley which slows down the burn rate. Then the blend is enhanced by the sweet and tangy flavor of brandy. This type of blend was very common in the fifties and sixties, but many companies stopped using cube-cut tobaccos years ago, so if you have a hankering for an old-time blend that's great morning, noon, and night, give C&D's Bradyville a try.

Dry as popcorn!
The flavor and aroma are very good for a basic tobacco. Not really any bite either. Only problem is this is as dry as popcorn. Smoked it in a MM Country Gentleman. Not a huge bowl but too big for a smoke to be done in 30 minutes tops. It burned pretty clean and gave off plenty of smoke. Needs some moisture to slow the burn and dampen the heat. I'm ordering more and will put it in a container with a moisture pillow for a month or so. I'll try it again after that to see if it has improved. If you like dry tobacco this may be good as is? Otherwise be ready to add moisture or blend this with something else when you get it. This has the potential to be a really nice smoke if you are willing to invest the time to get it there.
